Great, I have a great mate, Dan, who's at NG12 3SJ. He's coming up but his engine lights have just come Any chance of helping him
safcfansofaraway is driving from Leicester and has just offered to pick him up. But he's having a hotel and Dan needs to get home. RTB might be able to help. We have a great bunch of people so it'll work out somehow.
Thanks mate, that's great. I'm looking for a lift back for him. I'll keep you and Faraway posted. If all else fails I'll get the Watford team coach to drop him back
1-0 win to the lads and a huge celebration afterwards. Please nobody leave early show your appreciation for this amazing young side we've got. We've had a phenomenal season so far one last push. Buzzin for a sold out SOL
Sorry Smug, Just seen you are looking for a lift for your mate. I'm up on the LNER from Peterborough. Hope your mate gets sorted for his lift.
Interesting to see what the crowd will be no idea how many "sold out" means these days. Cant imagine Watford will be bringing that many
I'd also appreciate a ticket if anyone can help. I've just let Dan have mine Good job I have faith in the kindness of strangers!
So, where the **** have these part timers been all season? They should be made to wait until 2.59pm to enter the ground and let the rest of us - the hardcore - get to ours seats without getting stuck behind them as they fail to understand how to scan their tickets
Well, as you can see on this thread some are in Cornwall, Leamington Spa etc. The lads I'm meeting, off the train, are from Hastings, Devon, Bristol, Bishops Stortford, etc. Tomorrow may mean the morning off work which they can't swing for every home game. Surely it makes sense to save that for more important games. They're the hardcore and almost always at the away games whereas local people can't be bothered ... ... bloody part timers
So, we have sold just under 45,000 according to safc.com. Do we assume Watford will bring 2,000? Anyone know what their allocation was? They certainly haven't sold out as there are still tickets on their website
You see Charlie, you don't have to act all Billy big bollocks and treat your staff like **** to get a sellout. Well done to KLD, Speakman, Stuart Harvey and the recruitment team, Mowbray, this marvellous young team for playing such an exciting brand of football and the fans for backing these lads home and away all season. However it ends, it's been a ****ing blast.
Agreed. I really hope we win, I hope we make the play-offs and then who knows....... .....but if we don't, the lads will be clapped off the pitch and thanked for their efforts. It's been a fantastic season and way, way above our expectations
