In fairness, Bournemouth have picked up and are an effective unit ... but only Saints could go away to the Goonz (of this season) and so nearly win (should have) then lose at home to Bournemouth...
Struck me wandering Liverpool this week, when I was a kid you knew half the city was red and the other blue, you'd see an equal amount of shirts, advertising, hats whatever. That city is red now. It's all over, it's Liverpool and Liverpool FC is their club. Shirts, scarfs, advertisinh EVERYWHERE. Liverpool club shop right bang in Liverpool One. We were here for 7 days and last night as we watch Newcastle my Norsk girlfriend goes, "hold on, Everton are in Liverpool?" Think Everton are in a lot more trouble than people think they are. You'd never think for a second that Everton have won a ton of trophies if you actually visited the city, it's like they're an afterthought
I don't think there is any sour grapes reading through. I'm more interested to know why an account that's nowt more than a year or two old, hates on Everton, makes no sense to me in the grand scale of things. I said Southampton would go down, only because I just can't see them getting out of this mess. I said Leicester should go down for employing a Scottish Haggis past it's sell by date. I said Forest should go down, blah blah blah. Maybe Everton do deserve to go down, I can't really argue with that, but a turd that wouldn't flush, hmmm. In theory maybe, but I felt far too much passion in that comment.
Well going by the mothballed state of that cabbage, probably your sock. The only reason it remains is because I thought someone had said he met up with schlem, and I know you have never been to a game.
Anyway, I can see it only being a matter of time before I bin him off once and for all. The clock is ticking
TBF We used to be the turd that wouldn't flush - As in constant seasons of fighting relegation before eventually we deservedly went down. We've referred to ourselves as the turd that wouldn't flush. From a personal point, Everton fans are one of the only sets that come up to Newcastle and actively cause trouble over last few seasons. This may be due to the games generally being night time games and both teams being so poor.
I think they use the money to buy Toney, he's already in London, absolutely fits the role and despite everything its a big upgrade for him. Plus I think Tottenham is the biggest club for whom he'd be a first reamer (if Kane leaves).
We're not mate, its a bit like the ridiculous made up rivalry with Aston Villa. They took the piss one year when we went down and some can't get over it.
