I have just read that Pret a manger has put up the cost of their subscription due to inflation. Subscription for a cafe? Apparantly it gets you 5 coffees a day. Who on earth drinks 5 coffees a day? Let alone going to a place like that to do it. 5 coffees, I would never bloody sleep.

A subscription for greasy joes would be up my street. 5 breakfasts a week <laugh>

By accident I reduced my coffee intake over lockdown. I probably only had 2 a day, but suddey realised I was having none. Havent missed it much. When I go into the office we have a brilliant independant coffee shop round the corner, so I will grab one if I get chance. So probably no more than 2 or 3 coffees a week for me.

    This is following this news . . . .
Sunderland man admits performing a sex act while kneeling over captured seagull
A man has admitted performing a sex act while kneeling over a captured seagull and watching pornography on his mobile phone.

David Lee, 40, from Roker Avenue, Sunderland, admitted causing unnecessary suffering to the bird at 1am on August 17th, 2022

Gulls on the roof of South tyneside Magistrates’ Court could be heard calling out as the bench watched CCTV of the “bizarre” incident, which happened in a back street of Gladstone Street, Sunderland.

Lesley Burgess, prosecuting, told the court that Lee chased one bird before picking up a smaller gull, and was caught on CCTV looking at his phone while holding the bird between his legs and masturbating.

Once he had finished, he pulled up his pants and gave the bird a “little kick”, the court heard.

Lee was arrested at a nearby takeaway and told police that he picked up the gull because he thought that it was hurt, and was looking on his phone to find out what he should do.

    Blinkers . . . . we're not all perfect, are we <yikes>

Being English, I want to moan about the weather.

Hit a little ball with a long stick around a muddy field today (NRd), it was very cold, chilly wind!

Then I read Spain is having a heatwave (30° +) and drought...

A couple of mates are in Espana right now and the bastards sent a few pics, to pizz the rest of us off!

I heard a comment that they'd been promoted despite him. Is that a fair assessment?

When I go I stand (stood) next to him at the dugout, and, as I've mentioned on here before, he didn't know what to do against the better clubs, so yes, I think that it is a fair assessment :emoticon-0112-wonde

He's still Super Kev, though :emoticon-0148-yes:

Five minutes at passport control. The queue for the toilet on the plane was longer.

Where's all this travel chaos for Brits?

Why do they keep reporting mass shootings in the USA? It’s not news. Just give us a head count at the end of each month.

Yes, more newsworthy if they reported '' no shootings now for x no. of days''
