Net 'legal' immigration was over 500k last year while 45k crossed in boats. If there is a threat, the people in boats are a tiny part of it.

17000 up on the year before. And rate is already rising in 2023, to 60-70,000 pa

We don't know who they are, largely because they throw away their ID

Currently 1 in 5 are economic migrants from India

And we have no hotels left to accommodate them

Yet we allow the asylum backlog to increase and don’t build long term infrastructure for the issue.

How do you assess when they deliberately throw away their ID?

Current law says if you get a 40 year old claiming to be a 15 yr old, you can ask him to take tests. If he refuses, you have to take his word for it. Couldn't make it up.

None of which addresses my point. What about the 'threat to cultural cohesiveness' from the net 500k 'legal' migrants? Why do the 45k in boats present so much greater a threat? Is it because they're all 'cannibals'?
