True story ... when I went down to the Royal Brompton in 2017 for my pre-op consultation with Dr Asimokopolis (the heart surgeon), there was a guy at the reception desk joking with the receptionists ... my missus nudged me and whispered "isn't that?" ... was Barry Humphries ... RIP

As the Chief said... ballroom dancing. I was brought up around blokes like him at the grandparents, who were big fans of him, so sad news.

Mate ... I'm no fan of it myself, but 'Strictly' is one of the most popular shows on the box in terms of viewing figures ... and it certainly ain't just 'older heads' watching it

I was attending the dance hall on Sunday evenings during the 90's. I used to love the foxtrot

 

that’s just plain old boredom some live in front of the box and will watch anything just to fill a hole
