We are still 3rd in the Premiership and still unbeaten, with Spurs and Arsenal having failed to beat us at SJP. Aston Villa were fortunate to get a point from our game at Villa Park and, yet again, we put our unhygenic neighbours firmly in their place (back in our shadow) at the Stadium of ****e.

Even if we lose our next 3 games we will still be in the top 8 after having played 14 matches and all the recognised "top teams" bar Liverpool.

After 11 games we are only 15 points from the magic 40 and with a bit of good fortune, Europe could be a possibilty. Pardew is doing a brilliant job and the squad seem more united than ever before. All our players seem to REALLY want to play for this club and its fans.

We are also 15 points and 12 places clear of the soap dodgers and they STILL have Steve Bruce in charge of their sorry bunch of "has beens", "never weres" and "wannabes".

So I will not be letting Mike Ashley ruin my weekend by proving once again that he is a soul-less, money-grabbing skidmark.

Plus Ryan Taylors got 68% of the vote for goal of the week on Sky Sports News. Yay!

All this. But to be honest I don't see how the renaming of SJP can ruin our season and nor should we let it. We just need to keep doing what we are doing, picking up points etc and we honestly could have an outside shout of the Europa league. And I would have taken that at the start of the season, we achieve that and none of the backroom shenanigans will matter to me. <ok>

It's been an amazing season to date and I'm not going to let anything derail the pure pleasure I've felt since it started.

I'm just worried if we loose the next 3 games (which is very likley). Will people/papers/everyone start blaming Ashley and saying he ruined our season and lost the team and fan spirit when he changed the name...

While the stadium name change is a bit of a blow the important thing is we don't lose the focus / momentum and the fantastic atmosphere that the start to the season has given us.

We've gotta focus on the positives outlined above and even when our great run comes to an end during one of the next three games there's no shame in that. Whatever happens we can't let the negative views be carried to the ground on match days as we've seen what happens when the players are distracted. If we remain positive and behind the team 110% and we'll continue to pick up points.

If they do then they're bloody idiots to be honest.

Man City, Man Utd and Chelsea are very strong teams and even before this name change we were all pretty sure that we'd lose these matches anyway.

I can see this too! Because, lets face it. It will turn out like this. All of a sudden we will go from the Suprise Package, to a club in Turmoil...all over again. The journo's were probably rubbing their hands with glee when it emerged the club were changing SJP's name! They're gonna fo their very best to make a bigger deal out of it than i actually is.

By this I mean, talking to the jobless, fickle idiots that wander, or should I say stumble, around the city centre during weekdays, drunk off Tennants Super. Knowing full well they'll spout some garbage about 'The Cockney Mafia'.

Urgh, I cant ****ing stand the media. Shame that the Daily Mail offices didnt burn down in my absense :(

It was nice to see some idiot get on BBC News with 'Sack The Board' sign dressed up like a c*nt.

    Always warms the heart.

    Breaking News

The Daily Mail offices are burning out of control.

Police suspect arson and a man with a large nose is currently helping them with their enquiries.
