see if the placepot that i put up yesterday is a winning one, i think i will go crazy. this is the first time i have been praying for a bet not to come up
he is a lovely horse RV, had everything in his favour today and i had a sneaky suspicion that Pipe kept Buena Vista in until yesterday to keep Swing Bills weight down that extra 3lbs.
Rainbow, still a good shout though even if you didn't get a return. Will be well up to winning races I think Had a play on Sam Doc 20/1 at Newcastle, upped in trip and handicap debut, the least exposed of these, even if showing relatively little in maidens. It is a poor race and I just think it could go well.
Toppy I think so as well CRACK AWAY JACK 1.45 Cheltenham - Really like him today now he has had a breathing operation. Has switched to Paul Nicholls and a mark of 142 should be workable. 4-1 PROSPECT WELLS 2.55 Cheltenham - Had some high class flat form when trained in France by Andre Fabre (Group 3 winner- Group 1 runner up). Listed winner on the flat for Howard Johnson also and looked a useful recruit to hurdling for Paul Nicholls when bolting up at Chepstow. 4-1. Backed this one after his Chepstow win at 20s for Supreme Novices so hoping for a big run today TIGRE D'ARON 3.30 Cheltenham - Second behind Tonic Mellysee in France before making a winning hurdling debut for Howard Johnson at Wetherby. Disappointed after that at Carlisle but surely not his true form and Paul Nicholls thinks he has a well handicapped horse (runs off 120). Ryan Mahon takes off a useful 3lbs and I expect the morning gamble to go close - 4-1 GRAND CRUS 4.05 Cheltenham- Developed in to a high class performer last season and should make the most of the 5lbs he gets from Cue Card and Champion Court. Has a high cruising speed and I don't see the step down in trip as a problem. 85/40
Grizzly I seen that as well mate but changed before I placed bet so switched to Paddy Power account. I have 85/40 BOG. Don't think he will start bigger though which is a shame
That was a cracking run from Tanks For That. No nonsense, excellent jumping show of speed. I was quite taken with that.
RV he ran well. Nicholls in his column said he had reservations about how brave he was at his fences. I do think he'll do well for this yard, and I'll be on him when he is run around 2 and a half miles. Nicholls said he'd be more comfortable with that trip Was a good reappearance I felt?
Yeah he ran a blinder. Not sure he would have won tbh but that was an awful blunder- stopped to a walk almost for a while. Did really well to finish where he did. I thought he jumped ok up untill then which is a shame
