    No idea mate.

Simply putting it out there and asking the question.

From my perspective I'd probably stick with Gracia and hope we pull a rabbit out of the hat like last year.

Don't think Ive ever felt more disillusioned with football and the club than this morning. It's not really about me but the younger generations and kids that won't understand how this came about and won't grasp the idea of lower league football if that happened. Like Marcos, Im questioning myself for inflicting the club on next two generations of my family. However I paid for my Spurs trip an hour ago before I changed my mind. As mrs. Eire said, you really are a glutton for punishment

Right now i would take Big Sam, i would certainly feel more confident on the run in with him steering the Titanic before disaster strikes. Even if we wen't down i think he could be the man to raise us again.

Sam was always defence minded, just could be the man to start sorting our problems from the source, some man once said was it Shankly? always build a team from the back.

No point in replacing Gracia with another dead man walking so unless we can identify and employ next season’s coach now we’ll probably have to stick with it until the bitter end.

Personally I’d like Potter in now on a long term contract but he’d never agree to it.

    Afternoon all,

Last night falls squarely on Gracia imo. The players were giving their all, Harrison exceptional.

Lack of substitutions and reaction to Smiths changes is ultimately what cost us.

When you are backs to the wall trying to hold a lead it is obvious Aaronson is not the answer.
A change of formation with an extra defender or just a better choice of sub, Greenwood for instance, could have seen us through.

Not using Gnonto once again is reason enough not to give Gracia the job full time. The problems he causes, even when not scoring, might have been enough to pin Leicester back a bit in their own half. At the least they would have had a lot more to worry about and potentially they fall apart a bit.

The only redeeming thing at the moment is another game week goes by and we can not do into the relegation places. Thank god those below us are ****e.

I will probably take pelters for this but I will throw it out there anyway - what about Coops and Dallas like the old days? Player Manager / Coaches, encourage a beer and a *** at half time and a bit of banter. Not long term but we know they both have the respect of their team mates and it has to be better than a lost Gracia. Certainly they would know who the trouble makers / negative influences are in the dressing room. Probably going down either way in my opinion but I would start to root the chaff out now :emoticon-0148-yes:

So we wanted to defend it at 1-0. Bang some defensive players on, sit deep and see it out?

Rewind to Spurs away when we went 5 at the back to see it out and ended up losing. I remember quite a few saying we shouldn't have tried to defend it.

Which way do you want it?

Asking for midfield reinforcements is not the same as 5 at the back. Protection in front of the defence was what was required and having players there with the ability to take a yellow card when necessary.

Four at the back with 5 in front and a pacy substitute up front to chase about and close down as well.

One of my first thoughts this morning was, we may aswell give the gig to Cooper, at least he'll have the passion for the job.

Its been mentioned that Harrison was exceptional last night and yes the skill and the cross for the goal was great. However can anyone remember what other crosses he put into the danger area? Or how about defence splitting passes? This is the problem with Harrison he can look good in patches, he has a great work ethic but because he creates more than anyone else on this deficient team we tend to think of him as being brilliant. Wan Bisaka looks to be a brilliant RB but he has no end product and why he will never make a world class RB. Our forwards this last 2 seasons have run around trying to find space but rarely get the ball and guess what, that means the likes of Harrison, Rodrigo, Sinisterra, Bamford, Summerville try and go it alone rather than pass to a player in a better position. Wingers like Raphinha are able to do it and score goals, Martinelli and Sako at Arsenal can do it…… a Sinisterra can do it if he is fit for long enough, but Harrison is having his most unproductive season so far. He has had a few games when he seems almost unplayable but from the Palace game on he has been fairly pants and last night was slightly better but …..

Agree. He's too patchy. Don't know what's up with him.
