"He ran Celtic FC’s chain of club shops in the early 1990s and organised testimonial events for first team players and coaches, including Tommy Burns and Sean Fallon"

    Ooft!

    Employed by Celtic!

    Separate entity defence in tatters!

The Trophy Centre were contracted to sell Celtic merchandise.

The Trophy Centre were also contracted to sell Rangers merchandise.

If this makes Torbett a Celtic employee it also makes him a Rangers employee.

Wait until you find out that The Trophy Centre and St Patrick's Sports Academy were also separate entities

    It'll blow your mind

Him running the shops would suggest he was on more than 5 quid an hour. At least £7.50 I'd say.

What Rangers or Celtic merchandise did the Trophy centre sell?

I'm sure the Trophy centre sold...well...trophies.

    And medals and such like.

Sold them to Celtic to the tune of £250 000 a year in fact. Suppose it was handy having Celtic board members and board member family members on the payroll at the time. Lucrative contracts, everyone's a winner eh.

Apart from the Celtic fans who had to put up with the squalor of Celtic park at the time.

So Sevco were cosy with RIFC for 5 decades then when noncing allegations were levelled for the umpteenth time at Sevco, RIFC paid Sevco 10s of thousands of pounds to change their name and sever all ties with RIFC?
