It's going to be a very difficult atmosphere to contend with ... at home under dyche only lost once and that was without Lewin doucoure and onana.
Does anyone actually have any empathy with Everton and want them to stay up? Doesn't look like it. Even their fans seem resigned to it now.
I'd love it, love it if we beat them. Will be tough though, they need points by hook or by crook and could see us picking up an injury in this game (would still play the strongest team available) as if they lose this and don't beat Leicester that is them effectively down... Wouldn't even take Gordon with us (but we will) - leave him home, don't give them any extra ammo to get fired up over. Pope Trippier, Botman, Burn, Target Longstaff, Bruno, Willock Murphy, Isak, Joelinton Dubravka, Manquillo, Lacselles, Ritchie, Anderson, Miley, Almiron, ASM, Wilson
Calvert-Lewin fit for once, with his 1 goal in 13 games this season, he doesn't scare very much. Onana is out, good, seemed like a dirty cheating prick in the last game.
He was definitely clutching at his hammy, can't be to serious as they sent him back out there for 30 seconds before subbing him off but I'd err on the side of caution myself.
An interesting call Howe has to make with regards to Gordon. Their fans hate him more than they hate us, so what to do with him? Start/ sub / settee?
Everton fans will be very vocal and newcastle need to shut the ****ers up early .. the blue smoke grenades and all sorts of ****housery will be deployed
I'd leave him home, there's not much good that can come out of it bringing him along, if he scores there will be a riot at Goodison and they may need to move to Bramley Dock sooner than expected... It'll be an interesting one for sure, their fan base are wound up so tight atm if they are getting battered it could get ugly. Pitch invasions, attempts to get to the board etc. Is there any way to bet there will be a delay of at least 5 mins to the game due to fan trouble?
Nah they'll just be the same whiney miserable Scouse ****s bleating crap like "sack the board" and "you're not fit to wear the shirt". And Dominic Calvert-Lewin couldn't score in brothel, regardless of whatever the crowd are like.
Lol. Who needs the fires of hell, when you've got a bunch of miserable Scouse losers? My granny's funeral had more atmosphere than the last time I was at that ground. Everton are dross, and their fans hate the board, they're past caring tbh.
You're wrong on that it's a very passionate fanbase and a tough away game. The teams crap but the fans came together back end of last season and created a very loud atmosphere.... it'll be like this om Thursday night and newcastle have to shut them up early.
