Cirkin was brilliant yesterday as were many of the other lads yesterday but I was surprised we took Ekwah off. I thought he was superb.
Now I might still be excited after yesterday and thinking too much but say we do get into the playoffs, get to the final then win it and get promoted, I'm starting to think that we wouldn't get relegated. In my opinion all we have to get is 10 or 11 wins and draw others to get to around 40 points and with this team as well as bringing other players in to compliment them and maybe getting Amad and Gelhardt back on loan again and strengthen the squad who's to say we can't do that?
I agree mate 100% maybe saying at the time that Ekwah was MoM was a slight exaggeration brought about by euphoria, but he completely took me by surprise at just how good he was , his passing reminded me of Jordan Henderson, not just the speed and accuracy, but silky smooth, and played along the ground to feet exactly what was required.. To say that bringing Roberts on for him was just what was needed was odd to say the least , but there you go. its all about opinions. On reflection Cirkin was undoubtedly MoM two superb goals from a full back (who was punched unconscious last time he scored with a bullet header in the box) was heroic and beyond the call of duty, but as you say there were a few contenders in that team yesterday, it was a truly momentous performance and so reminded me (and Monty) it transpires of 1973, and it gets no better than that , but you never know what lies in store. I was surprised that Ekwah was subbed yesterday, I thought he had a great game and as I mentioned I would've brought Michut on for Ba and pushed him up slightly. I can understand taking Gelhardt off as he ran himself into the ground and was kicked to **** all game

Ekwah looked dodgy when he played down at Norwich, but West Ham supporting lads I work with were surprised they let him go and keep telling me that we need to be letting him take free-kicks around the edge of opposition boxes. Obviously, it was a poor challenge from him for the penalty against Hull but for me he has otherwise looked very composed and clever with the ball since that Norwich game. He'd be starting for me.
Thing that stood out for me was the presence and cutting of passing lanes from Ekwah. A few times he shifted very quickly just as the pass was about to be made and ultimately it turned the ball over to use. Vital skill that.
Back in Cornwall and at work this morning after a fantastic away day yesterday, and an adrenaline fuelled drive home, still can't stop smiling! A massive thanks to Smug for finding me a ticket, so pleased I was able to be there, it was incredible. The noise and atmosphere is always great in amongst our fans but yesterday was exceptional, deafening from entering the concourse right through the whole match and well after, nobody wanted to leave. Someone mentioned on here that the tension felt by those watching on the TV was not really evident in the crowd, I would agree with that, everyone seemed to be on a high and only positivity funnelled towards the team. The singing from our fans immediately after their penalty was loud, proud and encouraging the players to rise above the set back, which we know they did. The euphoria of Cirkin's first goal was only exceeded when he scored his second, it was a treat that they were attacking our end to win the game. The noise from our fans was so unreal and constant, I didn't even realise the game was over until I saw one or two of the WB players sitting down on the pitch and the linesmen walking towards the referee, at which point it got even louder! I was there in 73 and that's a memory that will never fade and helped cement a lifetime of being a SAFC fan, but this season, this squad, this club, the football we're playing, if I were a kid watching my first few games, I would be hooked for life all over again! Now I need to sort out my excuse for the need to travel to the SOL for Saturday, got to be there for the last home game of the season, if just to say thanks for a fantastic year, whatever the result.

Perhaps our goals are not what they are looking for , we live in a sound bite society, "goal of the season " is just another example, its what it says on the tin sweet FA. or maybe bitter FL is the more appropriate.
