It's November and Forsell's only made 4 sub appearances and hasn't been able to get on the bench recently. Awful signing. Just a needless signing as well, which makes it bad. If we sign a player, he plays in 30 or so games but isn't good, that's bad. But we sign a player who will barely scrap 10 games and won't start a match, that's just stupid business. What was SG thinking Forsell could contribute?

We've been lucky because we haven't had any injuries in that department since pre-season.

We switch to 4-5-1 or we bring a loan player in. Worse case we sit Nunez behind Becchio, all of those options are better than playing Forssell. You can't waste money on wages when you are in the position Leeds and Grayson find themselves in on the assumtion of "what if's". What IF Lonergan breaks another finger and McCarthy gets called back, do we play Rachbuka again or get another loan player in. Should we have three top keepers on the books in case of what if's, where does it stop.

Signed him as cover, I suppose, as with Vayrynen. On a free transfer, those two aren't bad signings. Doubt they're on crippling wages either. It just depends if they can take their chance if they're given 90 minutes in their natural positions.

Back to the topic of Howson, I'm not as reassured as everyone else that he really is going to sign just because he says 'I hope I'll stay' and 'these things take time'. Do they really take time? He's clearly fishing for more money and we know how the club react when their limits are tested. He also trotted out that awful line which nearly all the players we've lost on a free have said: 'I want to play in the Premiership and hopefully that will be with Leeds'.

If Keogh gets called back (which he can't, there's no recall clause) we'd put Becchio in. If Ross was injured, we can play Nunez behind Becchio. Forsell really isn't going to make an impact at Leeds.

Ive seen Forssell and I think hes good enough as cover, certainly better than Paynter, he just needs to work on his fitness!

Cause a month or so ago, there was something in the paper about it, because Wolves had a few injuries and people were worried about it.
