of course at the moment! when they come down they will have a very large wage bill, especially if they fail this season! They are building up to ground extensions and better quality players so failure in a years time or maybe can they eke it out for 2 more they will have a big chasm to fill! they do seem to get mid 10,000 mostly, so not really pushing the 11,000 unless there is rule to avoid that! A bigger stadium would give them more if they have the fan base to fulfill it .. no good building 25000 seater if only 12, ooo likely to attend!?
We are interested in Jake O’Brien from Palarse apparently… https://footballleagueworld.co.uk/bristol-city-set-to-pursue-premier-league-transfer-agreement/

I assume we’re holding out for the best deal with Scott following interest from other premiership clubs Liverpool can have him for £40m or more
Not sure Scott and Liverpool right now is a mix that would work. Liverpool, I would imagine, will be looking for top established midfielders to get them competitive again for a top 4 finish next season. Might be wrong but I don't think Scott is quite ready for Liverpool.
If he ends up going to a top club in the Prem, you'd hope he might get loaned back to us for another season to continue his football education !
Highly unlikely as they will want to work with him themselves. If you was Alex would you want to be trained by Nige, Fleming and Eaull or Klopp and his team? Regardless of playing time that training by them at his age could be the making of him.
could be an easier game ... or a real pasting v Burnley! technically 9 teams in with a chance of 2 places for play off's but all will need to win both WBA has game in hand ! 6 fixtures battle for the same points!
I meant that going somewhere like Liverpool he's very unlikely to feature in or around their first team for quite a while. Whether he would get the same attention for his own development there just being one of many fringe players is the concern.
At this stage of his development I’d say game time is hugely important, that’s why Tammy came here. Obviously the higher the level the better, as others have said I’m not sure he’s ready for Liverpool yet, a lower mid table team would probably be better, as he’d have more chance of actually playing.
We need to take off our hopeful glasses and accept, that after the next two games Scott won’t be with us. Liverpool or any of the other Prem teams don’t care about us, and think that if he is to be loaned out then a team challenging top Championship, lower Prem or even abroad is the better option. I just can’t see a loan back being on the cards, even though I would like it to be. One downside to that would be a lower offer as we know loans don’t come cheap so they would drop the offer to cover it.
