Best we’d manage is loan him somewhere for a season. Hope whoever takes him pays half his wages. It was a joke deal only marginally better than the big kev one
All the players will have relegation clauses that reduce their income if we go down. Thought you'd be happy, lower division so more competitive with a chance of winning the league and we'll be quids in
Not sure that’s right. Quality players won’t sign if you build in those clauses. That was the old days pre agents etc
Well they already have to rely on staying on the PL to get their full salaries (hence the high bonuses) which means it's already partially built in. So not only do we pay them less when were in the Championship we also pay them less the season before as well. Yet everyone keeps saying Kinnear and Orta are clueless.
Clearly we have a plan for relegation, which is to save money on wages so we're financially in a very solid position and can fund promotion at the first attempt. Of course if that fails then there will be massive consequences for the second attempt. You don't seem to like that we know what we're doing.
I’m not. I just disagree that we aren’t missing what he brought to the club and that Firpo is a better player.
We haven't a clue what were at hence floundering in lower reaches two seasons running paying reserve team players double what well organised clubs pay top players in their starting squads and then stay up bonuses on top. Consolation is that board of clowns won't be around forever just like their daft predecessors and the club will
Phil Hay is a negative cnut who thrives on Leeds struggling .. it allows him to write hit-job pieces to help sell subscriptions .. I fkn despise the troll, he needs to fk off to Hearts Alioski was offered a staggering amount of money to go to Saudi, at his age he couldn't afford to pass on the deal .. good on the lad, he played his heart out for us and I don't begrudge him getting lots of dosh off the Saudis Rutter is a proper talent, he will come good with a solid manager and a full pre-season with the squad .. remember, he hadn't played since November when he joined because of WC and winter break .. clueless managers haven't used him or Gnonto properly, which says it all really The biggest problem has been setting up with two holding mids sitting deep .. it means lack of support runners in final third, easy to get turned over and countered down the flanks as full backs push on to try and add numbers to attack .. it's a negative setup, starting the team on the back foot with no intent to go hard for a win .. Marsch & Gracia both seem to think it's better to try and get to 80 minutes at 0-0 then see if a win can be pinched late on .. fk off I fkn miss Bielsa
