I still think that Ekwah is mentally slow in reacting to developing situations but I'm with Mogga on this one, he's a young lad learning on the job. There is definitely a player in there once he adjusts to mens football from U21.

Agree with every word. 1981 was my first season. The Reid era etc you mention was great to be part if. The 105 point season, but this just “feels” better

I thought that too until I watched him to-day. One swallow and all that, but I thought he was magnificent to-day.

    The lad frightens me tbh.

He has quality but he needs to react more quickly.

I know his style confuses the opposition but he confuses us at the same time.

Seriously, he needs to sharpen up.

It's all about opinions, which is why we enjoy ourselves on this board.

In my view he is still slow, mentally , over the first yard but a lot of that is down to experience. At least I hope.
Looking forward to seeing him develop he ha a lot of good attributes

He got it bang on today going with the lineup he went with. Ekwah was quality and the subs were spot on at the right time to freshen it up. Credit to the gaffer today.

Man oh man. Not lomg home and have had more than my share of pop. Apols for any rubbish I post. What a day.

Went in a pub for a couple and then a load of baggies camr in. Sound though. They said we have been great to watch.

Got my seat and right in front was a couppe of mates from London, havent seem for probably 5 or 6 years. Tell you what, every bugger loves this team. It honestly feels like we have a big livence to dream by the team. Atmosphere was absolute class. I dont go to as many games as I sbould, but man wben I do I make the most of it.

The match. We were brilliant. Pen wasnt far in front of us, thought it was stonewall when I saw it. Seem the replays and the beer must have been strong. Talking at half time tbough nobody thought we were out of it. Second half i swear we sucked the ball in. Cirkins header and Gooches cross, I swear I knew it was happening 2 seconds before it did. Then what a joy to see that second. Wbat i love about being there is I never feel the nerves like you poor buggers watching on tv. The lads around you keep everything going.

The lads comimg over at the end was a highlight. They really do buy into us, and we do.them. I felt like I was 25 again singing my arse off. Loved it. Thanks SAFC.

Couple of quick pints with my London mates and a lovely pork pie. Couple of baggies fans came.over and said we deserved it and played class. Train back, a small bottle and a couple of cans . Massive grins for everyone who made eye contact. Probably looked like a maniac and no bugger sat at my table.

Cup of tea now, but honestly the malt is tempting. What a club, what a team, what a bunch of supporters.
