First of all I didn't complain. And secondly, Ian Beale isn't a Celtic fan so why don't you crawl up your own arse and give up peace?
Just WWI. WWII should be remembered by everyone sporting a Hitler style tache. Oh THAT's what Movember is for
i do. soldiers who are killed these days get their own memorial service and are flown home for their families to bury them. unlike those thousands in the unmarked graves from the two WW's
No. What about those who: Liberated the Falklands Tried to keep the peace in Northern Ireland Stopped the genocide in Bosnia Liberated the people of Iraq and Afghanistan All just, all good.
Yes I do. These men and women gave everything to protect our freedom. We should never forget and be forever grateful for their ultimate sacrifice.
a lot of "British" people dont agree with 3 of those "wars" though and therefore we get banners like we saw at Celtic park and poppy burning by radical muslims which sickens a lot of people like myself.
There's no moral conundrum, soldiers are sent to war, some come back dead. It's about remembering the sacrifice that they made in the name of the country, showing respect to their families etc., it has nothing to do with politics, or the moral conundrum. Bowing to Muslim and Irish extremists is not on the agenda. **** off
In my opinion it was the 2 world wars that shaped the country we live in now. We should always remember the sacrifice that they willingly made. I don't agree that the poppy should be used to remember those who have died in recent wars. How many 15 year olds today would run away from home to join the army?
Not many, but their was a genuine sense of national pride back in the day. Nowaday, kids are brought up by ******ed and lazy parents who have no sense of community spirit or self-worth, thanks to the left wing ****ers who are bringing Europe to it's knees. The statue at Glasgow City Chambers reads that 200,000 men conscripted the British Army from Glasgow alone in WWI!! Granted, Glasgow was the 4th biggest city in Europe at the time, but **** me, 200,000
