You did a reverse Utd (at Liverpool).
I haven’t seen the game as driving back from Portsmouth. I assume it was as bad as it looks

Depends on whether enough supporters think
that finishing in the EL places is sufficient
motivation to bother getting behind the team.

Quite an ask IMHO when the players themselves
do not appear to be similarly motivated.

Because that’s helped massively this season…

Fans largely play very little in a result. If they did, there’s not a chance Forest would be as low as they are and Palace would probably be challenging for European spots.

Leicester’s 4-1 win showed it was entirely possible that someone was gonna hammer us even worse.

    In summary:
We were only thrashed today because the fans booed Davinson Sanchez.

We know this is the only reason. A graph says so.

I think we've officially reached the bottom of the Barrel of Excuses.

The club is going nowhere until at the very least Levy is removed as Chairman, they have been managing the football operation on the cheap for too long now, managers are rarely backed with their first choice players and bad decisions after bad decision are being made. Sad times, with little hope of any change for the better under these owners.

I didn't say any of that, though. Actually all of our main competitors have had similar or worse defeats in the PL and that's football so excuses are not required. But if you boo the players and abuse them on social media I don't think that helps anyone. Similarly the coaches and the owners.

If any of that was true we wouldn't be anywhere near the clubs who have lots more money than us. Levy inherited a basket case in decline and has changed it massively for the better. The only other club which has massively improved over the period Levy has been in charge is Man City.
All other owners have done worse.

Fans can't overcome massive disadvantages in finance any more than ENIC can. But every little helps. And abusing our owners, coaches and players certainly doesn't

    Ok ...

"they have been managing the football operation on the cheap for too long now"

Who are "they" , Billy ?? ENIC ??

If so, you are saying at the very least that the current
30% owner must be removed from his job as chairman
of THFC, by the current 70% owner.

It’s a complete myth that booing or cheering affects results and/ or performances though. Booing is too “pantomimey” for my liking but it’s one of the few ways fans can show their disgruntlement.

The booing from fans is also stemming from years of incompetences from owners, managers and players. They’re simply fed up. Cheering the team has clearly done absolutely nothing in that timeframe, booing might just enforce some much needed changes around the place.

Football is in the entertainment business and the audience will always express their feelings. If you are getting booed then the performers need to ask themselves what they are doing wrong not blame the audience. They are happy to take the money and bask in the reflected glory so do not expect sympathy when you both fail in the sport and even more so, fail to entertain the paying customer.

Picking on individual players is a different matter. The players play as a collective and they should take the plaudits and the brickbats as a collective.

I’d like to see them each being booed as they walk onto the pitch Thursday to make up for the fact this game was away. Don’t want to get booed? Then don’t be 5 goals down in 20 minutes, pretty simple really.

Yes, I was. I've been pointing out how ridiculous the takeover was since before it went through.
They're also sponsored by two murderous dictatorships and pick a rapist every week.
    Scum all round.
