It is for me mate. My family are from the north east, both Durham and Newcastle. And the north east gets a bit of a bad rep down here. So it’s nice to see all three sides doing well. Even if it’s a shame that Newcastles is massively tainted by the source of their wealth. And either way my granda supported both teams so I know he’d be happy today.
What was the point of Spurs signing Richarlison? He’s wasted there and needs to be the main striker in a team to get the best out of him. Might happen next season like as surely Kane will be off if he has any ambition.

Very close to what I've found this. Only the hard of thinking among them really think this is in any way a natural development. Most know what we know; they have gained a good team, but they have lost the identity of their club, and thanks to the craven and grovelling welcome they gave a murdering regime and psychopathic owner, they can never have it back.

To be fair, SOME of the mags I know are uncomfortable about it and don't talk football as much as they did, but far more are insufferable right now. One was crowing yesterday about them qualifying for Europe when I'd said last summer it would take a few years, and he dismissed the fact that Liverpool, Chelsea and Spurs have all massively under performed this year (you can chuck West Ham, Leicester and Wolves in as teams who've done worse than expected this year who in the last few years have been in and about the top 10). Add in the way they hate sources like the Athletic for daring to critique their owners and lash out at anyone who doesn't kiss their arses. It's like the Keegan and Hall years all over again.
