Team spirit is class right now and if we make it into the playoffs we will be the team than nobody wants to face. Also have to say we have so many players at the club who are brilliant in interviews.
I think whats frightening to teams is that we have that many players out injured, even when we're behind we keep playing football. We have players to hurt teams going forward and best of all - WE NEVER GIVE UP!
Immense! What a team! What a result! What a performance! The spirit of this team is unbelievable. Love every one of them.
Currently sixth, home game to come, best GD and in the best form of the play-off chasers. Plus, the likes of ... Blackburn v Burnley Sheff Utd v West Brom Sheff Utd v Preston Middlesbrough v Coventry Millwall v Blackburn Preston v Sunderland ... still to come. Thankfully, the players didn't give up as quickly as some supporters.
Gooch has had some brilliant games for us lately...unfortunately an occasional stinker as well. Today, as skipper he was excellent and his assist for Cirkin's first goal was class.
So proud of those lads what a game what a season. If this is just the start of the project hang on to your bloody hats.
Teams like West Brom are just variations on one kind of cloggers after another. They can match physicality, shytehousing and bullying but have no idea how to cope with players capable of close passing in dangerous areas. I laughed out load at them when 6'4" monsters were flinging themselves to the ground, and rolling around, after being tackled by the likes of Michut They really should be ashamed of themselves. I just wish that game had been the play-off final so the whole nation could see what we're doing. Sorry, but any Luddites still doubting KLD, Speakman and the club are absolutely clueless ... ... we're witnessing history here. I was brought up on tales of Hurley, Shackleton, Carter, Sharkey, Clough, etc ... ... kids in their first season at the SOL don't have a clue about the dross and shameful shyte we've had to endure
Part of me thinks it a shame that Sunderland till I die haven't been filming this season (a final positive one). Even if we don't make it to Wembley, it has been one hell of a season
Having watched the dross from McMenemy and Moyes I think I’m bloody dreaming. The Reid era was fabulous but I’ve. A feeling we are building something better and longer lasting
I’ll repeat what I said last year. We won’t get to the playoffs. And if we do we won’t get to the final. And even if we do get to the final we won’t get promoted.
