Malcolm was a disgrace today Half arsed pathetic no interest And to round it off a pathetic dive when their player didn’t touch him Send him back now
As Joe Strummer once said. You've gotta give it all you've got or forget it. Malcolm will be on the scrapheap by his mid twenties if he doesn't buck up. I did call it even before he came.
Hang on, don't go making up things I never said, nor meant nor implied. Someone else posted earlier on the benefits members get, so no need for me to repeat it. As for the bonuses, just coz you personally haven't taken advantage of them or been lucky enough to be selected doesn't mean they haven't happened. If members feel that badly done to then no one is forcing them to be a member. I do however think Chazz puts forward the bones of a good idea.
That sounds a lot like 'Earn your stripes' I think this was actually the kernel of a good idea in the bad launch of the membership scheme after the Allams. That the longer you're a member the more rewarded and recognised you are.
You could copy and paste this post after every one of his performances. I don't understand what he's done to be in the 18 ahead of Longman although it's pretty clear Rosenior doesn't fancy him He's the type of player that gets you fired as a manager
He's really going to struggle to get another job. When Bacuna went off today, Wilder completely blanked him, that type of prickish attitude isn't going to make players want to play for you. Watford are an interesting one, they'll generate good money for their assets and although they won't be able to reinvest all of it, if they can get their recruitment right, they can do great next year. Whether they will is another question but a lot will depend who their gaffer is next season (although threy'll probably go through about 3 of them)
We should be aiming for automatic promotion next season not playoff’s Why would you intentionally aim for the lottery of the playoffs. “We’re not good enough to win the championship but we think we’re good enough from the Prem”
As I said somewhere a few weeks ago, all 24 teams aim to win the Championship, it would be dumb to set a limit on ambition, but publicly stated ambitions will always be more realistic as an achievable bar. Making the play offs is a good next step for us to aim for.
Yeah of course I’d be happy if we reached the playoffs but I’ve seen people at the club mention the playoffs and also posters on here. Like you said the goal should be automatic promotion, if we fall short at least we’d be in the play off spots. Always best to aim high!
And I'm sure internally they would be. Tempering expectations isn't a bad thing though. When Bruce came in he said it would take 3 years to get back to the PL and we did it in 1. That's much better than coming in saying they expected to get promoted in the first year and it taking 3 years.
I think some of their players know they are moving next season, so didn't want to get injured, so went through the motions.
As far as I saw it we just did enough to win the game, we got the 3 points, so after a tough 3-game week for me the performance was okay. Watford certainly looked as if their best players are looking for the exit door and performed accordingly. I for one quite enjoyed the game, though I enjoy watching football and don't judge my enjoyment based purely on goal attempts. There is more to the game than that IMO. I thought Slater was the pick of the players for me, I have really enjoyed his improvement under Liam, and he is not just a hard-working player but has skill also. Our midfield at times looks very good, when Seri/Traore/Slater get working well together they produce some really nice moves. This will only improve in time also. I think a diamond with a Smallwood type but better at the base, and Traore at the top, could work very well. Again the back 5 looked assured, apart from McLoughlin's mistimed header back to Darlow which could have been punished they handed what Watford had to offer pretty well. Darlow's save from Sarr was very good. I thought Tufan had a good game, took his penalty very well again, and one drop of the shoulder in the midfield opened up a lovely move going forward. Vaughan again didn't look out of place, really nice backheel for the penalty. A couple of times I wish he went on the outside of players rather than cutting back inside onto his right foot, but I guess that will come in time. I remember Bowen started to improve when he learnt to use his right foot more, then defenders are in 2 minds about which way he would go. All in all another 3 points and a clean sheet what's not to like!
McLoughlin made a couple of mistakes of which the appalling header was the standout. I think he needs a break - end of season has probably come at the right time for him. Vaughan needs to gain experience and listen to the coaches - which I'm sure he will. What he has done well so far, he has done very well and his innate reading of the game is excellent. He does look to be getting caught out though as our attacks break down and he needs coaching on how to respond in those situations. He's currently running back but not with an eye on what he needs to do. That will come though. I said earlier that he needs to start next season on the bench and coming on midway through the second half to build up experience and stamina. He looks a quick learner though and I can see him been a regular starter from now on if necessary. I'm not yet convinced about Sayyadmanesh. Excepting his excellent goal the other night, he's not really influencing games enough yet. Hopefully that will take off next season. Things are starting to take shape and a couple of astute signings over the summer could really bring the nucleus of a great team together.
He's the type of player when he's top of your 'I desperately want to get him here' list, would make the DOF think twice or maybe 3 times and do a bit more digging before allowing something, or, just tell the manager we've signed XYZ.
I've tried very hard to be supportive of him, young player learning his trade etc., always try to give City players every chance, but yes, all of the above. The least he could do yesterday was chase down every Watford player near him like his team mates did.
Not a lawyer, but pretty sure that isn't true. The DPA means organisations have to get users to renew permission to use their data, not that there is a time limit after which it has to be deleted.
Neither am I but it definitely isn’t true. If they were holding data for no reason that’s different. If they were holding data and using it for a reasonable purpose there isn’t a ‘delete after x years’ rule. Some places think it’s safer to delete data though if they can’t store it and use it safely. Given the club, under the As, sent me someone else’s name and bank details they were probably just **** at data handling
I've said it for weeks never want to see him in a City shirt ever again, was shocked to find him on the bench today and actually coming on. I watched him warming up with the others at half time and that was equally as pathetic, couldn't be arsed attitude.
