Well, one could argue that being good 'on paper' isn't good enough, and that we should have been wiser with regards to what we'd get out of the managers we hire in the long run.

But a lot can also be said about our sackings of managers.

Perhaps our biggest issue is trying to grow and get success to quickly rather than looking positively at the small wins. Always thinking we can try and reach the Prem before we've really rooted ourselves in the Champ.

For example... although Ollie had us finish in the same league position twice in a row (which is why he was sacked), he actually had more points in the bag in the second season. A small win, maybe shouldn't have been scoffed at. A bit of extra investment year on year could have improved things more. But sacked.

Then Warburton... brought a sense of stability to us. We weren't playing badly under him. A little bit of progress here and there. But they threw money at him and told him to get us promoted ASAP, or else. Who's decisions were those?

Today's performance and result do not correlate with these rumours of deep unrest. Only a team pulling together and for eachother could have produced such a result. #puzzled.

It’s a complete mystery to me. But hopefully the celebratory alcohol will make it all much clearer <monster> <ale> <bubbly>

Perhaps the colleagues of the troublemakers have had a word with them. Martin and Dykes for example. Perhaps they have realised that acting like a dick and not caring how they perform is not going to win them a contract anywhere else. What was true yesterday might not be today. Not that puzzling.

I suspect it's a bit of both and yes, some of the players may well have pulled the others into line.
    Hope they did.

And maybe, hopefully, some contracts contain win bonuses and a few can’t afford their next Ferrari if they get relegated.
Whatever happened, still loving the result.
Starting to get excited about trip back in August - youngest son has just moved to Clapham Common and intends to work in London for a few years - told him I’d “treat” him to an LR visit, expecting it to be a Championship game
    Urssss.

Any of you know if any truth in this? I remember when Beale first came to us, a lot of you were hoping that Willock wouldn't follow him, do you all still rate the player?

Decent when fit, but that's become a rarity. Since the last hamstring or thigh injury he's been awful and to be truthful, his heart hasn't looked in it. Whether that's down to not being fully fit or not being bothered is debatable, but if we have a major clear out again then I think he'll be one that goes. In the pathetic league that is the Scottish Prem , then he could do well, but then so could I!

I shall refrain from biting to your last sentence, but the last ****ing thing we need is signing a player who is always bastard injured. Pretty much all the players we signed last summer are either injured or just generally ****e.

Think we will need to agree to disagree with that one and I didn't really want to bring that up as you were obviously pissed off he left. It was more about Willock I was enquiring about.

He was very good until his first injury last season. Then fired on all cylinders until a second one this season. Since his return he's been pants. That is more to do with attitude than anything else. Whether it's that he couldn't be arsed or, possibly, that he'd lost his bottle from having the same injury twice in 9 months we will never know but I suspect the mood now is if anyone wants him they are welcome to him. I do not believe for one minute that he is currently injured. He just joins the long list of nonces we have who are not even bright enough to put themselves in the shop window
