Drameh - He refused to sign a new contract at Fulham as he wanted regular football. Fulham were a division lower than us at the time so I always felt the move was strange. On one hand knuckle down and fight for a place at the team you’re signed too. On the other hand he wants to be playing and not on the bench. It does seem a bit suspect that both Bielsa and Jesse sanctioned a loan, I’d have had him playing myself but something seems strangely off
The noose is tightening and the trap door is primed for us to fall but can we somehow find a way to survive ? Having just watched Leicester beat Wolves it's really difficult to see how we could take the 3 points on Tuesday as they now seem like a team full of belief and will come to ER and play on the front foot. Surely Javi Gracia will have to go all out and play an offensive style as well because both teams weaknesses are at the back. Football, as someone famously once said is a funny old game so we've got to hope the football gods have something positive in store for us.
Jamster I reckon there are some upset players in that dressing room now. Sinisterra, Rodrigo, Gnonto, Firpo, Georginio just for starters. I also reckon Cooper, Struijk, Bamford, Ayling are also upset and I reckon Gracia has lost the dressing room. We dont look interested mate. When a team like ours loses to teams like Palace and Fulham who are really no better than us. You just know the players this season have surrendered.
Agree 100% that some of the players don't look happy but don't think they've given up. That away performance today we must have witnessed 10 times already this season. Go behind but can't ever get a head of steam up in the closing 20 mins even when we pull one back. So taken in isolation not a terrible performance but when the season as a whole is taken into account it's clear there's a pattern and sometimes visibly players heads are dropping. Massive week coming up now with two winnable games which no fan can see us winning. Odds to be relegated (are they fecking crazy or what), Leeds 7/4 Leicester 6/4 Everton 5/6 Forest 1/5 Saints 1/10
The players just don't seem to have any belief. They turn up and go through the motions but even then its half hearted some of the time. It's soul destroying to watch because it's obvious that most of our squad are more than capable of thriving at this level. They just can't handle any adversity. The first thing that goes wrong and heads immediately drop. It's ****ing strange and it happened under Bielsa 3 times, Marsch this season and now Gracia. We don't do the basics right. When you play a double pivot then one of you has to hold the position. One of you can go forward but the other sits in. Both of ours regularly wander off and leave vast empty spaces in front of our back 4. Then you've got the likes of Summerville, Harrison and Aaronson isolating the full backs or centre halves and the first thing they try and do is pass it backwards or inside. Just ****ing take your man on. The back 4 was alot better today. I thought they did OK. It was Meslier that let them down. We lack any creativity. I think the commentator on BT sport summed it up when he said Leeds just seem to hope that they get lucky when they attack instead of creating anything for themselves. It's forced and rushed all the time. When Fulham broke early 1st half a couple of our players were jogging back. I mean, are they trying to save their legs for Tuesday? They should be running, sorry sprinting, back and if they are ****ed after an hour we have 5 subs to throw on. They've dug themselves a massive hole in the last 2 weeks and they are their own worst enemies. Its become embarrassing and the lot of em can be sold in the summer as far as I'm concerned. They are failures, losers, not fit to wear the shirt. Gutless.
The cup final is this Tuesday without a doubt this is definitely the one that defines our season it is the preverbial six pointer .....no amount of optimism will alter the fact that if we don't WIN we are down no ifs or buts, we will have to outscore them because we will not keep a clean sheet with the scardey cats we have at the back....Aaronson,burger boy, Harrison,viking and possibly le bleu should be out for me, willy,sini should start with Jimmy to come on I'd even think of putting gyabi in (can he do any worse)....I fear the worst with a little chunk of my brain still retaining hope but it's a very small chunk

Summerville at fault for the 2nd goal because he showed no urgency to tackle the free player then had all on trying to catch him as he raced into our half and broke through our lines. Irrelevant. Gap closes by the week and is virtually nothing now. That’s a championship team playing in the pl. you’re lot will hardly make it to half time Tuesday night
Aaronson is a crap Grealish. Falls over as much but doesn’t win nearly as many frees and lacks any of Grealish ability
