That sounds very dodgey to me... The first reason being that I was told by a local engineer that St James' shouldn't really be hosting such events because the stadium wasn't designed to take such, and is therefore unsafe on a number of structural points to have tens of thousands of fans jumping around for a whole hour...

Also, that seems like they are more interested in acquiring a venue for other purposes than acting as sponsor

Any sponsor we get are going to want extra services on top of the advertising in this current climate.

Doesn't that usually mean having the players appear on ads... Not renting out the stadium for the corpse of Bon Jovi to mince around a stage in the Gallowgate?

James Perch is very versatile. Not only a footballer of many positions and a model for the club merchandise but I reckon he'd be a damned fine actor too.

Hahaha a horror film would be best... I scream when he simply comes on the football pitch, so just imagine if he was waering a hockey mask and carrying around an industrial chainsaw in the flat of some hapless Teens...

First point... I know Pardew and Hughton have had a heck of a job trying to train him, not to mention Billy Davies et al... So is he going to **** on my carpet?
Second Point... I have heard him commented upon several times in the Stands as "****ing, terrible"... Is this accurate or is my girlfriend going to end up satisified with the purchase?

Point 1, a good two fingered slap on the nose and he will soon grow out of the ****ting isuue (you listening Pardew?)

Point 2, this really depends, as long as she doesn't expect too much she could be pleasantly pleased.

Point 2: If she ever had a Tamagotchi and greived when the 'pet' died then I'd abstain from purchasing a Perch.
