They don't get better with more explosions mate.

They're all largely the same boring crap with different levels of CGI.
No one mentioned more explosions

I mentioned a lack of violence as my main gripe with it..

Ive watched all the xmen movies in the hope that one day they'd make a proper gritty one.

Logan was that opportunity, i mean if you cant make arguably the most violent angry superhero known to man extremely super angry and violent then you failed

And it failed miserably

Yeh if all you're looking for is mindless violence then Logan which actually had a decent storyline and some fine performances will disappoint.

Not that there's much violence in most of the Marvel stuff anyway. It's just CGI bollox.

There's more violence in a Jason Statham film. And they're mostly **** n' all.

Watched Monster Hunter on Netflix the other night ... too much violence, not enough plot / character development ...

Yeh and when you fill it with CGI then it's boring as fck. You mentioned Hulk above, who genuinely thinks his CGI beating the **** out of anyone is remotely real looking.

And a lot of superheroes - Ironman, Spiderman where you can create the whole character in action scenes without the bloke involved is the same ****e. It's been complete bollox for the best part of 20 yrs <laugh>

All. Im sayin is wolverine is a grumpy angry extremely violent ****

None of the films show that

Targeting for the yoof/family innit. Think most Marvel are rated 12? Logan was 15 but it needed to be 18 to go full on comic style violence.
