I am not going to be too harsh on Ruben.

Diallo on for Lavia, sounds like madness, but Lavia was injured. I think Arsenal would have taken advantage of that anyway. Every player was knackered. We just couldn't hold on for 100 mins. Before the game we all were expecting Arsenal to score at least 3. No one thought we'd get 3 goals from open play though.

I'm sorry, but I can't be too down after that. We just were in one of the classic premier league games of the season.

It's not over until the fat lady sings. Last week I could hear her doing vocal warmups, but this week she has gone back stage for a bit as it isn't yet time.

I admire you. But you can't have a post-match Saints chat without at least one scapegoat. Dem's the rules.

Good to see Lyanco having a big half. Could be a key player in the Championship. Also, DCC back in the fold, likewise.

Bednarek giving them both instructions like a defensive coach was pleasing to see, and backs up my point about Bednarek being more vocal than anyone else. It goes unnoticed, but he is captain material for next season.

Selles lost us the game. No manager in their right mind brings off Lavia and Alcarez. Just ****ing stupid and clueless and says so much about Selles in-game management.

We could have had it but he made the mistakes.

For once I actually appreciate the players effort but the manager lost us the game.

I agree with this 100%. Truly baffling

We're not down yet. I know it sounds daft but we are only 3 points off 17th. Admittedly we need other results to go in our favour over the next week but it's not out of the question we'll be out of the bottom 3 when we go to Newcastle.

I honestly have no idea how anyone can be positive after that <laugh>

Utterly worthless result that if anything just further dents their confidence.

Would have been better to not have watched it as I’d initially planned, but no we needed to be two goals up at 85 mins…..

And on top of it we have probably just handed the title to City!
Sorry mate. The season has been utterly ****. We just gave the potential champions a huge scare. We have had so many lethargic games, this was a totally committed performance. I think a few fans recognise that after some of the dross we have seen

Unless they had to be taken off. Arsenal score with a knackered Lavia and Alcaraz, people would complain that they should have been subbed. One of those things.

I've been trying to Tom-curse us into staying up since December, and by golly you're not going to out-Tom-curse me now.
