Fair enough, I only caught the last few minutes. Does seem to happen a lot where the ref lets it run for another minute or two for no apparent reason.
It's corrupt to **** and it's obvious. Personally, I think the Championship is the most competitive league in Europe. The premier league is a closed shop.
Sadly I have to agree, I can still enjoy watching a good match but I don't feel the same about the sport at the top levels for the reasons you mention. I liked the Southampton manager's interview he seems an interesting bloke. Good luck to them.
Just watched thag and he spoke very well. He put Neville and Carragher in their place about the tactical/formation change and why he did it. They literally had no come backs to challenge him with an alternative viewpoint which is what they should be doing.
Aye he made a lot of sense. Spoke so fast it was like listening to rap but I just about held on. Tough ask holding onto a lead against Arsenal.
I like the Southampton caretaker manager Ruben Selles. He's very interesting. He talks a great game and he had a really clear idea about why he made the half time changes he did. He organised his team well. He's 39 years old, has a master's degree in Sports and Physiology which he got whilst working a day a week at Barcelona. He got his Uefa pro license when he was 25. Since then he's coached in Greece, Russia, Azerbaijan, Denmark, Spain and now England. He's been a fitness coach, a first team coach, a youth coach, a data analyst, an assistant manager and now head coach. He also speaks 4 languages fluently. He's very impressive and has the potential to be a great coach somewhere. I hope he does well.
These lads will be the future imo. I can't see the Lampards and Gerrards etc getting the really big jobs fighting for titles. They don't put the graft in behind the scenes.

Absolutely agree. Unless it’s the big team in the championship of course!! Then they just add 3 or 4 when we’ve had about 19 wasted by opponents!!
