Up until last weekend (when they beat Everton 3-1), the Cottagers had lost their previous five outings (in all competitions). In fact, their last victory was over Leeds in the FA Cup at the end of February. Patrick Bamford faces a race against time to be fit for tomorrow. The 29yo picked up a knock in Leeds 5-1 loss against Crystal Palace a fortnight ago, but has responded well to treatment. It will be interesting to see, if passed fit, whether he, or Rodrigo will lead the line. Bamford's fitness has been up for debate recently, but Gracia certainly prefers him over the Spanish International. Max Wober is fully fit, and could return to the starting XI at the expense of Pascal Struijk. Liam Cooper too, is overdue a start, having spent the last five games benched. Rasmus Kristensen was preferred over Luke Ayling on Monday. It remains to be seen whether he keeps his place at right back. Gracia has the luxury of choosing between Luis Sinisterra or Wilfred Gnonto on the left wing with Jack Harrison on the opposite wing, with licence to drift inwards. Stuart Dallas and Tyler Adams remain long term casualties. Fulham will be without their leading scorer Aleksandar Mitrovic, who serves his fourth of an eight-game ban for violent conduct. Neeskens Kebano (Achilles), Layvin Kurzawa (knee), and Daniel James (cannot play against parent team) all miss out.
I don't think he'll drop Meslier, it's not been great but out of the 11 goals, how many would another keeper have stopped, the stats aren;t great but perhaps if as a team we defended better, the chance wouldn't be created in the first place. I'd go there looking for a point, which would be a good result. ...............Meslier .............Koch........Cooper.......Wober Ayling....................................................Firpo ..................Roca..............McKennie Summerville.......................................Willy (presume Sini is out) ..................................Rodrigo.................... The squad (and club and fans) are that mentally fragile that the only chance we have tomorrow is to somehow avoid either a sloppy start or an individual doing something special to put us one up. If ANYTHING goes against us then we'll fold like we did in the previous games. A simple referee decision against us early on might be enough for the team to start feeling sorry for themselves and heads will drop. To be honest, we need a big piece of luck tomorrow. Just something to instill a bit of belief in to this sack of **** of a team. They won't turn it around themselves, they've totally gone. We need an own goal, red card just anything to go our way. Probably alot of things to go our way if we're honest.
Maybe it’s time the players were given another couple of hours of picking up the litter around the training ground
They'll start off supporting the team but if we go one down then they'll turn on the team/board/manager (again). They are just as panicky as the playing staff.
