    Who said anything about rising to the Premier League before it was in existence?
    The statement was "they will become the only team ever to rise from non league level to the Premier League"
    The statement wasn’t "they will become the only team ever to rise from non league level to the Premier League before it was in existence”.

    Why would my logic say anything about that? We were talking about clubs getting into the Premier League. How does that relate to the top division?

    The original post was about getting from the non league to the PL. No club has ever done that yet you are going on about clubs that were non league before the formation of the Premier League. Name a club that since 1992 that was a non league club and is now in the PL.

    Wigan were in Division 3 the year the PL was formed so could not have gone from non league to the PL.

    Wigan didn’t go from non league to the PL they had been a league club for a few seasons and were in division 3 the year the PL was founded.

    So now you are talking about something totally different
    Hull City were non league in 1904-1905 and played in the Premier League in 2008-2009
    The original statement didnt say that they had to be non league after the Premier League was formed - just had to get into the Premier League
    The statement was "they will become the only team ever to rise from non league level to the Premier League"
    Where does that say that the Premier League had to be in existence when they were non league?
