I think it's irrelevant if they win the Europa League & finish top 4. There is no extra CL place allocated to the 5th placed team.

 

We are fine now. City aren’t going to finish outside top 4 so better United have more distractions and then fail miserably at the final hurdle.

 

It would only have been a potential issue if Chelsea had won the CL (and finished outside top 4), but agent Fwank did his job well.

 

Only way 4th would have not got CL is if Man U won the Europa league and Chelsea won the CL, obvs Chelsea are out so doesn't matter where Man U finish or if they win EL, 4th place is Champs league.

Also no qualifier for 4th..straight into the group stage..so no potential partizan belgrade heartache again.
