Akpom could’ve scored the same goal 3-4 times second half. Isiah Jones gets it on the right, cuts it back to Akpom, clear shot on goal. 3-1 is flattering us.
1-0 at half time flattered them, it's quite simple really they are clinical in front of goal, we aren't currently
I still think akpoms **** And i bet he wont score 10league goals in another season for the rest of his career
We won the first half, they won the second... they're very mobile, something we have to but have to learn from. they have players with pace, we do not. But respect to us we kept trying to play with people not at this level.

We also don’t have a single fit striker. They have clinical players like Akpom and Archer. We don’t have a single physical defensive midfielder capable of breaking up play and winning the ball in the middle of the pitch. They have Howson. The lack of a defensive midfielder has plagued us all season. If it isn’t properly addressed in the summer, expect another season like this, not pushing for promotion. You need physicality in this league. Our midfield is way too soft and nice.
Tbh Boro played well that 2nd half, disappointing the way we conceded, but we can't deny they are a good team. But after that first half I'm not disappointed tbf, with a few additions as I said in the last motd thread, we have a decent nucleus, but need additions to take us to the next level. Brilliant first half though, really enjoyed that, second half errrmmm not so much. Keep the faith !
