Wow. We are as good as we think we are. That was an exceptional performance to grind down Vale and see it out.

Could not be tighter at the top. Barnsley surely drop away out of the running and it’s a three horse race. Three more wins out of four will do it.

Pilgrims so often write the final script!

Another memorable night, Broadhead can hold his head high, what a night for him.

If you think it’s bad for us, Sheffield Wednesday know they need to win every game to stay in the hunt. We have the luxury of a game in hand.

Brilliant character to turn that around and keep the wins coming in.

I almost don’t care about Plymouth now. As long as we keep ahead of Sheffield Wednesday, we’ve got an automatic promotion slot. Essentially two points ahead of them (superior goal difference) and a game in hand, it’s all for us to play for.

I am definitely nervous about the back-to-back away trips to Peterborough and Barnsley. The good thing is those teams have to attack us, and that should benefit us.

Well that's a relief, winning a game like that almost better than Saturday.

3 more points takes us above the bar for autos set last season. Barnsley and Peterborough will be more open, surely?

To be honest Hamps, I am on about myself. 58 years old and still getting stressed out by this bl**dy game.

Great performance and a huge win. Luongo and Morsy superb again in the middle. Broadhead ice cold for the penalty. I thought Woolfenden and Burgess were also superb, Woolfenden really is rolls Royce, his position sometimes means he literally doesn't have to break into a sweat. Edwards really has played a huge part for us coming off the bench he always impacts positively on the games, he is unlucky not to have had more starts this season.

When I think about the games a few months ago we definitely would have drawn this one back then, the difference is quite marked. We just kept the pressure on, we kept putting the ball in the box and the subs were great also, really feels like McKenna has learnt from that poor run of form.

Only a couple of slight negatives, perhaps the only 2 negatives I can think of at the moment which I have seen on a few matches, tonight we put some really good crosses in the box both in open play and some set pieces but players don't get across their man enough or attack the ball think this was epitomised by Ladapo today who didn't have a great game. Also I didn't think Chaplin was on top form perhaps not helped by Ladapo not making the same type of runs as Hurst, but still Chaplin is superb in and around the box but could certainly improve some of his creative decision making getting into the final third. Apart from Humpreys we lack that playmaker in the 10 role.

2 tough fixtures ahead, not sure my nerves can take anymore of this.

I could barely watch the pen and had to stand for the last ten minutes. We’ve had the luxury of some comfortable wins of late.

First cuppa tea in the morning and we have learnt much.

Great character and resilience to fight back from a Sheffield type defeat.

KM has learnt much, and knows his ideal
Line-up. One of his strengths is clearly giving great half time pep talks. To turn a dominant but disappointing 1st half into another amazing 2nd half had the crowd, and us, on our toes again.

Spanish has a Pilgrim lover in his box!

Redruth is ancient, stress ball at 53 ffs!

The gaffer is a heart throbbing case at 73. Now calm down dears!

Plymouth always get a result in the 96th min ffs.

We all agree that nice character Freddie, is, he faffs around and doesnt attack the ball, and unable to tee up with Chappers like Hurst, and Morsy and Burns do.

Burns was an Easter re-incarnation. Tearing up defenders.

Edwards loves coming on and makes instant impact.

Top 2 spot is ours to lose now. I for one am confident we will make it. We prefer teams to come at us, as in last few remaining games of this wonderful season, they surely will.

Now, where did I put my pacemaker...?

not a sugar daddy, he pays me ! since Truss & Qwartang reduced my pension pot by some considerable amount, one has to look for extra monies :)

I see Gaffer has taken 5 years off my age which is brilliant <cheers>

I think everyone is being a bit harsh on Freddie. The knives would be really be out for him if it’d been him missing that sitter against Charlton. His goalscoring record is really good and he has improved the rest of his game, especially his work rate. He hasn’t sulked about being benched. Reverse roles, how would Hirst be getting on?
