Regarding Salah and his numbers - think his bar is set so high if he doesn’t match it makes it seem like a bad season. Was stat about a month ago that showed rashford and Salah stats this year. Salah was out scoring and more assists than rashford, one was being talked about as having beat season of his career and being absolutely lethal and it wasn’t salah
Problem for city is that they are so dominant that it’s always hard to play exciting football. I put city down as machine. They’re robotic to some degree and that’s not a criticism. Been best lesgue team over last 10 years no doubt. But watching their games can be a bit dull because they’re so dominant with the ball that teams they play against generally sit back and try and just soak up all the pressure before finally conceding. The opposition don’t let city play brilliant high energy tempo football because city don’t need to. Thing with football is there is no right or wrong way to play. One man’s exciting is another man’s boring. I love watching thiago because I love how he passes the ball… others hate him because of how he slows things down. Some love neymar cos of his flicks and tricks. Some love Haaland cos he does **** all then bangs in 3 goals for 5 touches of the ball. The most exciting games involving city are generwlly when teams go toe to toe with them. They make city actually defend and then it allows city to also play some quick exciting football

I was amazed when pep paid what he did for Grealish but he's turned him into a player. Many laughed when City bought Stones and how many were chasing Ake?
Tell me how grealish is any better now than he was at villa, he still runs sideways then falls over for a free kick. Stones is not a good cb neither is ake. I'm fairly sure I'd look a world beater at cb for city, when you've only got to defend for 5 minutes a match. I'm not at all convinced of pep turning players into something. So basically they are playing **** footballers but are also buying the league by playing them ? Do you ever watch them, Grealish is a totally different player now. Rarely goes down and when does it's genuine, picking the right pass almost all the time and linking well with team mates. You need to watch players and judge them yourself instead of going off reputation.

I've not seen a Huge improvement in grealish, he looks very much the same player he's always been, however he's now surrounded by much better players. He hits tge deck will alarming regularity. Watch him for England, he's still the exact same. Stones is a decent cb but not top class, neither us ake, but what they have got is a world class midfield in front if them, plus 99% of teams won't actually attack ( I reckon that makes a defenders job alot easier). Look at our defence vvd, matip et Al. Looked great when teams where ****ting themselves that they'd get a hiding if they crossed the half way line, take that fear and protection away and suddenly they don't seem to great. Their front line is very good, but their midfield is absolutely amazing. But I'll ask again, who's pep bought that you laughed but now think is astonishing? How many has he bought and cast aside just as quickly?
I have never laughed at a player Pep has bought. Yes Grealish has appeared the same for England but in how many games since he moves to City? All managers cast players aside after buying them, do you want me to name some of Klopps cast offs? City are lucky ( as have been Chelsea and ourselves) with the fact they haven't had to worry too much about failures because of the money situation but all clubs drop the same bollocks to match their budgets

I think they're grey, as in characterless. Or at least their games tend to be. Once they go 2 up I just lose interest because the outcome is inevitable. I've said many times on here that I want football to be entertaining and I find the excitement of free-flowing football much better to watch than a totally dominant team just unpicking the locks of of an inferior but determined defence. This has been the problem with a lot of our games as well, btw (not this season obviously, because we're just bad in comparison with previous ones). City are technically efficient, but boring imo, and if it gets to the stage where nobody can get near them then the PL will be dead as a competition.

Anyone can appreciate a rivals achievements without bloody admitting that they are anything but a hateful pile of ****e. Any utd fan should know this.
