they still can't defend. its lampard ffs. I hope bohely has given another pep talk. that seems to really encourage their players.
the money is going on <7000 seats a massive "sky bar" so the types they want at games don't have to look at football and a 400 bed luxury hotel. yeah sounds like a real club
chelsea shocked that when chances fall to defensive players they don't actually take them. kante, cucurella miss real chances. vinictus jnr mosses one. real doing real. they won't exert themselves at all. we have seen it 3 times ourselves. you have to put the first one away
Everton lost to National League North side, Chester FC 1-0 today in a behind closed doors game at Finch Farm. Mason Holgate, Conor Coady, Yerry Mina, Nathan Patterson, Abdoulaye Doucoure, Tom Davies, Ellis Simms and Dominic Calvert-Lewin all featured
If your a fickle fan. An avid supporter of top of the league fc. Who are you most likely to support The glitz & glamour of the galacticos, the furore around mbop and psg, the beauty that was prime Barcelona or the grey ****e that is Manchester City.
imo Americans are maybe (I don't really know) more likely to buy real merch and explains the LeBron love in we have. if I'm in the middle East do I really give a ****? really? I'll pay for the TV or steal it depending but merch? we all know the far East is extremely varied and really you can have massive following and zero real revenues unless you can sell the real deal. that's why we've a big club shop at the kop selling very expensive stuff home fans don't buy. I think the TV money is huge but I really think the global spend of these fans needs a global organisation out there to sell stuff.
real make the expected change. rudiger on to deal with camavinga letting James in behind him. rudiger will be there to deal with kante and ball round corner. if real just keep camavinga forcing James out. that will be that.
What's grey ****e about city? They are great to watch, none of this high press chasing the ball like a dog with a balloon **** just win the ball back and keep it so the other clowns do all that. The genuinely good Iverpool team of the 70s was known as the machine for a reason, I hated the club but had to admire (and even enjoy) their football.
Every great club has great matches, titanic tussles, unbelievable comebacks, games that you tell your kids about. Games that go down in folk lore. You don't get that with city. They're grey. Spunked alot of money to win the league, not quite enough to win the big pot. City are expected to win, its funny when they don't. There's no excitement round the club, no fever.
Once a man utd fan says city are great to... well that was time to stop reading. it's the equivalent of an Everton fan complimenting Liverpool on anything.
just a quick note salah has 26 goals and 12 assists. ( 43 full games) nunez had 15 goals and 4 assists (37 with a lot from the bench) firmino is next on 11 and 5 assists. for a side we basically can say OK there's 3 massive hammering helping those but by the end of season the top 2 could be on 30 and 20 if they actually pick up a little run for form any other player bar salah who gets 38 goal involvements 43 games is a super hero..... I think we get a bit caught up in it at times. nunez as a guy coming in got less in his first season st benfica and doubled it to 30+ the next season BTW vinictus jnr playing lw for real. 21 goals and is super hero. again we are quite critical but hopeful for nunez.
I agree mate, they are very good footballing side, but and as always there's the but with city, for the amount of money they've spent they bloody should be. However can you point to a time they've got you up out your seat, a time when they've left you absolutely amazed. Or is it just a team that bully's opposition into submission by buying the best players. It's like trying to get excited watching someone elses game of football manager. Oh the ageurooooo goal, that's there one moment in what over a decade?
