****ing wide open Leeds. 1-3 Liverpool At least another 2 goals to come in this one. Neither side can defend
Was on I background where I have just been. So saw the handball, did carragher say something along the lines of he put his arm there to protect himself? Was difficult to hear telly where I was!
Aye, almost as if Trent was anticipating getting walloped by the ball so he was protecting himself. When he knew he wasn't he knocked it on with his elbow. "could have gone either way" according to Carragher Absolute horseshit. 1-4, we aren't done yet either
VAR proves itself again eh? do the attackers now need to just stand still until they see the ball leaving someones foot...offside REALLY needs looking at, clear, obvious space between attack and defence would be a good start and stop all these 'micro-millimeter' offsides and while they are at it make handball less of a dispute. i cant remember any real problems years ago, off side was simply offside with none of this 1st/2nd phase of play or not interfering with play/goalkeepers eyeline while handball was using your hand to gain control of the ball, arms are unfortunately part of the body and they will get struck with the ball occasionally which is different to moving your arm towards the ball to gain control. EDIT: it was a handball as far as i was concerned, he moved his arm to the ball and it got him control of the ball...simples.
Offside rule was invented to stop goal hagging twats standing in the box not for armpits and toes or lines to be drawn like we have now. The game is so anal these days it's getting tedious
I don't mind admitting when I'm wrong, I was clearly off my tits predicting that Leeds' defence was none existent.
Liverpool have been awful since they beat Man U, this probably means that they get beat next game edit: just checked and they are at home to Forest
Just seen that WBA striker Dike who scored the winner at our place did his Achilles on Saturday at Stoke and is out 6-9 months. Every little helps.
Surprised he’s only got 7 goals this season he bullied us, while looking I’ve just seen their home record it’s very good
Some interesting games in our league tonight. There’s certainly no ‘dead rubbers’. Blackpool v West Brom Rotherham v Burnley Sheffield United v Bristol City Stoke v Wigan Sunderland v Huddersfield Millwall v Birmingham
