They bought 22 players to try and make a success of this season Problem was they were all the wrong players
Looking at fixtures, Forest are down, with Soton, out of us,Leicester and Everton for the last spot. Massive game at home to Leicester next Tuesday.
I’m starting to think this could be Leeds, Southampton and Forest. Leicester and Everton pulling clear. Leeds don’t look like they’ve got anything about them.
Maybe he should be played as a midfielder because he is great at goal assists but not so good as goal prevention
Hmmmmmm ... makes for an interesting end to the season and I do think we have a fighting chance ... but we need to start firing on all cylinders without further delay ...
Leicester have the best squad of the four so should be the ones to pull away, think sticking with Rodgers and going for Smith could **** them. Everton are atrocious, I think 17th flatters them. Forest spent so much cash I think everyone on here was well aware it was not going to work out. You don't go up and buy 22 players for christ sake.
Rodgers was incredibly stubborn... fell out with Soyuncu (arguably our best performer against Citeh - apparently he was not showing the right attitude in training) Vestergaard (for an interview with a Danish magazine where he complained about not being given any playing opportunities - becayse he hadn't been getting any) and, to a lesser extent, Denis Praet ... plus he could not (or would not) see what the whole fan base were telling him about Iversen being the better keeper option ... Smith, Shakey and John Terry will get us more organised as a defensive unit and with both Maddison and Tielemans now fully fit and, hopefully, Barnes over his hammy tweak, we should be able to make a good fist of it in the remaining fixtures, at least ...
Listening to talkshite just now and word is tod bohley went into the chav dressing room to chastise the players after the last game Roman would never
Apparently so... and Lampard said he was ok with it, as it's the owner's prerogative. Suppose he's got to really, as no **** else would have him in that lofty a a gig.
