    In all seriousness... if o2 did buy the stadium naming rights, they'd never realistically change it to o2 @ SJP! Before yesterday the stadium was 'officially' called SportsDirect @ St James' Park... but nobody (including the media and the club itself) ever referred to it as that.

    Aye, pretty basic, simplistic but effective design. Not tacky. Could be good like. Anyone care to make a mock up?

    Honestly, if o2 were bloody lovely enough to rename the stadium something like St James' o2 Arena, and we just had the o2 logo on the shirt, and we got a nice chunk of money for it, I'd be content.

    That way, they can call it an O2 Arena for the branding and sponsorship rights, and us fans can still call it St James'... not that we wouldn't anyway!

    <laugh> I will, seeing as not606 appears to be sponsored by O2 ;)

    O2 would be mint though, a big money company which isnt tacky or **** like SD is.

    Also, says in that article that Mike and Derek want to rent the stadium out in summer for concerts and stuff.
