I just admit that Russell has gone up in my estimation - not down to the fact that we’ve taken 13 points out of a possible 15 points, but because of: A very candid, honest assessment and recognition that he did things wrong and that he apologised to the squad. Well done that man
Hopefully, no one wants him to fail, obviously. We've played decently the last few games and maybe (maybe?!) the defensive gifts are lessening, in which case the passing style of game will hopefully flourish. We really need a few better players to have a more creative and attacking emphasis but the intent to go forward is better now, or so it looked to me on Saturday.
