With our recruitment record we'd probably end up with the female Alex Scott...

What we need above anything is an experienced leader in CM to replace JWP and ideally one in central defence too to help the younger players along and develop.
The Championship is a tough league and the team will require a strong mentality.

I'd take either one of these TBH...

If she can get a job at the BBC with her poor grammar, it is not less likely that Rasmus could employ her as a boss.

Intrigued that no one has mentioned Weigman as a potential manager anywhere......

So, the nervy 9, became the edgy 8 which became the scared 7 and the sh1t 6.

We are down to the fearful 5

Leeds likely to make it the fncking useless 4

Between Everton, forest, Leicester and us who ends up in the terribly trashy 3.

There are no signs of recovery for us but there are another 3 teams who are just as ****e as us at the moment.

Something to fight for but I doubt it.

A bit of a wildcard here but George Saville at Millwall?

Well yeah, but Leicester got a goal against City and Everton got a goal against Fulham. Sorry to doom-monger but we have scored 1 in 3 games.

Looking at Premier League players in their thirties and out of contract in the summer, I think Luka Milivojevic would be a decent signing. Still only 32 but unlikely to be a starter for any Prem team. Then there's James Tomkins and Phil Jones for realistic CB options.

Tom Davies is out of contract too (and still only 24!). I know a lot of people will scoff, but these are the type of experienced heads we are desperate for.

In the spirit of getting rid of things for next season... Manager, half the squad etc, can i add two more that i'd like to banish:

1 - Jo Tessem on Radio Solent - loved him as a player, he gave everything when he played, but Jesus, i can't listen to the guy. It's like nails down the blackboard
2 - That ****ing slow version of 'Oh When The Saints' that is played before every game. Talk about how not to get the players and crowd worked up for a game. Might as well hand out pipes, cardigans and stick a bit of Val Doonican on, to get people hyped up

    Thanks...

I forgot Tom Davies existed, what has happened to his career?

Fallen a long way from the Doncaster Rovers Champions League winner my FIFA 17 save predicted.

I get what you’re saying but SR allowed him to implement this ****e show so they are to blame, whether it be partly, equally or wholly.

Yep, I’m old school & a successful team is build on a spine of a quality - keeper, CB, midfielder & striker, of which one of the middle two, have to be a leader. Not sure we have any of that after the inevitable fire sale, run for the hills pending session.

Kind of, but then he is the CEO. I mean, yes, Solak could have wielded the axe, but he's the money rather than the brains. Mind you, were I the money in this situation, my CEO wouldn't be my CEO much longer.

Wonder if Oriol and Redders would be up for returning to take us back up to the PL?

Don’t think Romeu has any intention of leaving Spain/Catalonia again, he left because he wanted to return home.

Redmond got so much unjustified **** from our fans that I would be surprised if he viewed us fondly enough to return.

Both players we could desperately have done with this year.

Could argue Stephens and Forster would have done a good job for us this year as well. Especially when you see Stephens performing impressively for Bournemouth, helping them clear of relegation.

All experienced players we could have desperately done with.

Yeah, the Besiktas fans absolutely love him, why would he want to come back to the **** he got from our fans?
