Well pleased with that first half compared to recent fragile performances. Battled it out well.

Ennis and Earley shining but how we need Connor Grant and/or Adam Randell for corners and free kicks.

Scruffy, few clear chances, little flowing football but a GREAT performance from PAFC.

The perfect antidote to our recent tribulations. If we can keep it tight and win ugly, that’s all we need for the next 6 weeks. The stylish football we’re used to can return when the opportunity arises.

Man of the Match? Pick from half a dozen. Ennis, Scarr, Earley,……

Yes very frustrating to lose the picture several times. It’s not usually like that. Seems it was the EFL data centre at Stockley Park that was to blame. Poor considering it’s an early kick off and so only a little traffic compared to 3pm to 5pm.

Man of the match could well of been ex-Argyle player Will Aimson....lovely OG....but Butcher will take it.

Could someone take Callum Burton aside and teach him how to kick a standing ball....how many times did he kick it directly into touch....brings pressure back straight away.

Sam Nombe easily best Exeter player caused a lot of danger mostly in the first half.

On the Ipswich site "**** it Plymouth leading"....... On here "good luck for the remainder of the season". So which one do we take? Your board has wished ill and injury even on almost every team that is close to you in the league. I personally will take your good wishes with a pinch of salt.

Burton 3 Sheffield Wednesday 2 with the benefit of an 85th minute penalty and 8 minutes of added time.

Now 2 points clear of them in 3rd with a game in hand.

There should be no question of the play offs from here. The way we’ve battled past a potential banana skin in Exeter suggests we can stay in the top 2 and should have restored confidence after a sticky spell. Nevertheless, it’s good to see we’re 17 points clear of Derby in 7th and they only have 4 to play.

If only we hadn't dropped 3pts against Lincoln we would have been well in control with only 5 games left.

It was a poor performance against a team we should have had on toast but we threw it away by sloppy defending. Very disappointing but you can’t win them all.

Today on the other hand we’ve been resolute despite that defeat still being in the mind and in a pressure cooker atmosphere. The players and staff can take renewed confidence from that.

It’s ours to lose and the clue is in that phrase. What we mustn’t do is lose. At this stage, we don’t need to worry about entertaining. The fans will be ecstatic with a boring 1-0 win. We don’t need to charge after a second when we’ve got the first or the third when we’ve got 2. We just need to get the job done.

We've got to keep winning because others think their playing cricket....with their goals for fun results ...which is worth a point more than us.

Not overly impressed by the TV coverage that cost £10 today ( good job we won )......one camera....no close ups....no commentators at the match....picture controlled many miles away,

Every time we lost the picture we of course had no commentary....and we still got charged £10....reminds me why after covid I stopped buying it

Okay I know that Argyle TV use four cameras at home.....and close ups I assume....but why do we get charged £10 for a second rate service like today....when even the commentors have no better view than us sitting at home.

Just watched the Sky video.... that's a different camera ?.........it certainly is different sound....and you could clearly hear the crowd and the Green Army....without having to have the sound level up to a 100% and still without really getting the atmosphere at all.

One nil or Six nil it's still only worth 3 points at the end of the game. It wasn't pretty and I admit to getting a bit pee'd off with the hoofing it strategy. I actually thought Ennis did more with the ball played to his head than Cosgrove did which is a bit ironic. But when all is said and done it worked. Just maybe but it worked. You cannot ask for any more at this stage of the season. I also admit I didn't think it was going to work as the game went on. We won ugly but it is a win. Good enough for me.

Exactly. This game was firstly an away game. Secondly it was a derby game. Thirdly if you listen to some it was a must win game. We ended with 3 points yet some people just are never satisfied no matter what. Like you I don't care how they do it just so long as they do. Backs to the wall for 89 minutes and win 1 - 0 I'd take every game now. There are no gimmee games for anyone in this league.
