To repeat what I just posted on the original "Fans Forum" thread--you can hear the forum on the BBC i-player Three Counties if you missed it. The first 30 minutes is very revealing of a dysfunctional senior management at the club. Timperley explains how the "very able" Winter and Jones left the club "because it did not work for them" leaving a "big hole" in the club and no effective leadership. After 6 months of "confusion" only now has the leadership been reactivated and a new management structure put in place. The Winter plan is being revised. Bas is not an effective CEO--he often surprises Timperley and GT by his actions and ignores fan opinion/concern. The Red Lion is his project, and seems to bemuse GT and Timperley. The East Stand is an aspiration, not a plan with a timescale. GT is clearly frustrated , and has the same questions as the fans--and he is a Board member! He was left trying to answer questions from a few notes left by Bas--the first time he himself had seen some of this information. What a way to treat a club legend. He won't stay.

The question on the scale and source of funds available to pay the next bond installment was avoided--Timperley was simply glad we did not have to pay it all at once, but did not seem to know where Bas will source the funds as payments come due. I'm afraid that Bas's "honeymoon period" was late in arriving and of short duration. All the initial doubts , suspicions and misgivings are now back.

Dyche cam over quite well--honest,sincere in his intentions aware of his own limitations, offered a sort of rational for his treatment of our young players--but he will not be judged by how well he performs in a fans forum will he?

Two other questions were asked which GT and Timperley were taken back by, so had no answer. The first one was from the supporters trust who had written several times to Bas and were still waiting for a reply. GT seemed appalled and said he would look into it. The second one was from a fan who wanted to know when he could expect the money for his shares that Bas has acquired from him. ST simply said he didn't know.

Thank god the good lord put a certain safety net around the club if things do go belly up , but the forum apart , he has delivered on promises made so far and has gone to all the games bar 2!
Not happy he bottled out of the forum ,but as with SD lets just wait and see what happens a while longer!

I think we should give him the same benefit that we give every one else ie. innocent until proven guilty, I mean he can't help looking like a used car salesman - and, as Norway says, he has delivered on all his promises so far and also been to a large number of matches. If he says that he was to ill to attend then I would not feel inclined to read between the lines on this - any more than I would expect my employer to think that I had 'bottled out' if I rang in sick just before an important meeting, which has happened.

While I was looking for some stuff that was put on here last March, I was struck how many of the doubts that we had then are just as valid today.:(

Clarification of where the money is and is coming from would be a good start, there has been so much secrecy since his tenure started. We are none the wiser, I do not expect a £ for £ detail but a name would be a start!
