I’ve been asking for it for literally weeks. At least it’s a plan to actually score. instead we play literally ****e league one standard players like Aribo and Theo and produce absolutely **** all. It’s insane
Complete apathy. A small smattering of boos followed by applause as the players walked down the tunnel. Yep, applause. What a joke. Our fans are too ****ing placid and too ****ing nice.
I can’t put into words just how much I hate these ****ing ‘players’. Selles can see out the end of the season, but it needs to be ‘thank you and goodbye’ at the end, along with this ‘coaching’ ‘team’ we assembled at the beginning of the season. Also the scouts need to reapply for their jobs and provide a damn good reason why they should remain at the club. I have seen extensive moaning about how toxic our fans have been, but we have been far too placid. We need to give these twats dogs abuse every minute they continue to embarrass this football club before they go on their undeserved holidays. Do I come across as a bit miffed? I hope Dyche’s Everton and Leicester stay up because we haven’t got a hope in hell if they come down with us.
Unfortunately, I think you are correct. The rot in the squad/management is deep. I do not see playing in the championship as a miracle cure
Yeah I wouldn’t have expected applause but I also would hate it if we were like Everton fans were after our game for example. Few boos shout at the players/manager calling them useless then **** off home and forget about it for a week
What's the point now in booing though? Just creates more toxicity. It's not the players' fault; that's just a knee-jerk reaction. It's the manager, picking crap line-ups and tactics, and Sports Republic, for just, everything basically. The right thing for the fanbase to do is to create a good atmosphere for the last remaining games, not because of the football being played, but to demonstrate that there is still some hope for this absolute shambles of a club.
I actually would be more fearful of Forest/Leeds/Bournemouth coming down with us than Everton and Leicester. Think they both could be hugely ****ed financially if they do and they will lose players and be unable to spend. Was talking to a mate who supports Everton and he is terrified of going down. Mainly because they never have so he doesn’t realise football exists outside the PL and describes the championship like you would describe watching an U13 reserve team. But also he thinks they will plummet if they do because of money.
Agree. Everton is too extreme, but these players need to wake the **** up and realise how pissed off the fans are with them. Doubt they care. They'll still be picking up their obscene wages whilst negotiating a way out of this **** show in the summer.
For whom, we should of got Allardyce when Ralph left. Just look at Palace to see the effect of a manager that gets a team organised. See the season out and be careful to get the correct manager in by 1st June, to give him a chance to shape the squad
Its on the manager, its on the board, its on sports Republic and its on the players. The players are hopeless and look like they don't give a ****. They deserve a bad reception. In the game, pre match, sure, support them but after another abject limp defeat ... they deserve it.
Yeah I doubt any of them really care ultimately it’s just a job. They won’t want a relegation on their CV, some/most will have some professional pride but that will be about it. I think the booing/hurling abuse is more just for the fans to get it off their chest than the players being overly bothered by it.
Today was last chance saloon for survival. In truth we've been slowly drifting towards this inevitable conclusion since Pellegrino's tenure with a slight improvement during Hassenhuttl's reign. This season has been a steaming pile of dogshite since day 1 though
I doubt he’d get the chance if they went down. Their fanbase would be in uproar and I’d expect him to carry the blame if they do go
We need to be dropping the players that definitely won’t be here next season, except where we have no cover. We need to be trying players for next season now. Edozie needs to be back in ahead of Walcott for example, Perraud instead of AMN etc.
I mean, man for man, they've all put in a shift (except for AMN), and tried to implement whatever instructions they were given. Individually there weren't really any poor performances (again, apart from AMN). But what can they do when they have a non-manager in charge? It's lambs being led by a donkey.
