Ideas are there, execution lacks quality..
Dominating the game but find ourselves a goal down at HT..
NP needs to tweak things imo..
 
5 mins after Wells hits the post we find ourselves 2 down.. Max imo should have done a lot better..
All against the run of play..

Never rated Max as a number one for us. Good back up but to progress I believe we need a new keeper. I’m not like RR or others base a player on a game, I take my time before deciding I don’t rate someone.

Goalkeepers make mistakes, when they do it often leads to a goal. I like him because he commands his area unlike Bentley , who most rate highly, I don’t get it. This season with Max in goal our goals against have improved immeasurably, often with a makeshift defence, that’s in no small measure due to the defence having faith in Max, and Max coming for balls and in general commanding his area.

My point with Pring was ironic, just pointing out players make mistakes, doesn’t mean they are crap or need replacing

See I don’t see him as commanding his area. He showed signs of improvement it a few games ago but now started flapping IMO. He’s still young but to me to progress I believe we need a keeper. I’m hoping Nige has found someone in the young French lad.
