There was no point sacking Potter to have Lampard see out the rest of the season. Reeks of us getting rid of Brown and having Dowie take charge. There’s very little to be salvaged from this season for them anyway. Should’ve stuck with Potter until the summer then sacked him.
fun at lincoln v port vale. the ref must have thought he was working in a casino, 13 cards, including two straight reds and a third for a second yellow. lincoln's goalie was off first, on 27 minutes with lincoln a goal up. within 7 minutes, port vale has scored twice, including a penalty, and then lost a player of their own. it was 2-2 at halftime. a vale player's second yellow (his first came a minute after he left the bench in the 46th minute) came after 80 minutes and lincoln made the extra player count in the 87th, giving them a 3-2 win.

just watched a couple of videos from today's west ham v arsenal game. the second was bowen's equaliser. the first was the lead up to saka missing a penalty two minutes earlier. seriously, giving that as handball makes football and its rule makers look like complete and utter effing mentally ******ed imbeciles. what a load of mindless idiocy. ithe older i get, the more i distrust and despise large organisations, and i've detested fifa since the days of the crook blatter. likewise the ioc, the eu, and too many more to mention. handball for that? my a**e.
