    I remember a key game many years ago - 1970 maybe - when we wanted a win for promotion to Div 1. We lost 5.1 <doh>

    I don't think tomorrow will be anything like as bad. In fact, let's be positive.

    A gutsy 1.1. Kaba to score and make up for missing the sitter last week. <ok>

    i was there standing on sleepers in that 3 sided stadium i believe we lost 3-1 with rees scoring a blinder for us,i think it was the first game without Toshak the rat who left us for liverpool.

    I was at that game in 71, it signalled the end of our promotion push to the top flight, although losing at home to Watford later put the seal on it.
