My brother, who's an ex policeman in the UK, now lives in Alaska. His grandchildren (from his marriage to an American woman) have twice recently been kept home from school on police advice due to a 'potential threat of violence'. As his wife said 'practically everyone has at least one gun'.

Listen to Suella Braverman and realise: this show of diversity in our cabinet is not progress (msn.com) Braverman having a brown face doesn't mean she's not racist.
Without her sticking her oar in there’d never have been half the hullabaloo over two massive racists proudly displaying golly dolls in a pub so if she and the Tories are intent on courting the vote (and MPs and councillors) that would have been UKIP/BNP ten years ago we might as well get some light entertainment from it.
So given illegal migrants to the UK must comprise citizens from at least a dozen countries and probably many more, including India, which of them is she guilty of discriminating against racially?
Probably fair to say she has equal disdain for all asylum seekers (iLlEgAl MiGrAnTs) but coming out with outright lies and debunked statistics that provoke racism isn’t a great look for a Home Secretary. More xenophobia than racism really but there’s plenty of overlap. I doubt she’s a frothing Britain First type deep down but has chosen this as her path to the top. Not sure if that makes it better or worse. She almost makes the top 50 here though but then that’s presumably a cross-section of society rather than just the people her rhetoric is aimed at. https://yougov.co.uk/ratings/politics/popularity/politicians-political-figures/all
It's not racist, or xenophobic. It's simply that they are coming in illegally and we don't have facilities to house them. Illegal immigration is now a top 4 issue for the electorate.
Well yeah that will happen when you increasingly delay processing applications, don’t build the infrastructure to cope with the demand and pump anti-immigration propaganda at people for years.
1.1 million legal immigrants came into the UK last year. There has to be a finite amount. Voters are saying that's it.
I’d have a bit more sympathy for this viewpoint, stupid as it is, if your lot hadn’t been crying about it for decades.
