I'd personally prefer we play them both together with one of them on the winger, rather than playing one of Willock or Joelinton on the wing. There's no reason to play all 4 of our CM's at once. I want 3 attacking players playing. I know Joelinton has scored essentially 3 goals in 2 games, but that doesn't usually happen.
Done it the hard way and if not for injuries and favouritism he might have done more at international level.
I think it could work, mainly because Isak is so technically skilled, pacey and can create. Isak----------Wilson---------ASM/Almiron/Gordon/Murphy.
Max is out for 6 to 8 weeks so that's the season really. I don't care what anyone says that's a blow. He's been playing well passing crossing and starting to become what he's going to be one day. Gordon will get his chance to show what he's got though.
This is a major problem for ASM. He just gets going and then gets injured. It happens. But he seems to miss large swathes of the season with injuries and then takes ages to get back to form. Then he gets injured again.
I agree I think it's the way he plays he's quick and performs movements that others can't. His strength is also his weakness. I'm waiting on confirmation I'm not sure how reliable this cronin guy is
Who isn't? And this is about now ...Newcastle fail to land 4th and it might not come again for years.
