I didn’t really ask a question. I pointed out what questions they should have asked. Then explained why they probably didn’t, or that maybe they did and decided that it was worth a punt regardless. I’m not excusing it.

I think I remember bielsa saying jka was in good shape when he arrived, Though he may not have clarified what he was in good shape for. It was widely subsequently reported that bielsa was exasperated by his lack of fitness.

He looks good in the garage… as long as you don’t have to move him.

A friend of mine had a TVR, he said he wished he'd been told that tvr stands for
Tow Vehicle Required when he bought it.

I guessed what you were pointing out. I’m pointing out why it was piss poor negotiations on our part and is costing us millions. I also think a decent DOF or CEO could / should have done a better deal. Still, we agree to disagree.

Kinell fella... that's twice i've tried to agree with you.
"that should have been enough to insist on some safety clauses."
"we were seduced by the glamour of the name, panicked and bought a lemon."
    "I’m not excusing it."

Let me be less vague. I AGREE WITH YOU.<laugh>

I know a few people who've done the same, one guy had one for 7 months, it spent approximately 6 of them getting 'fixed'. The limited time he actually had it at home, he spent pushing it in and out of his garage (in the dark) morning and night so the neighbours could see it on his driveway <laugh><laugh>

Our players are on a mini break in Monte Carlo by all accounts, I’d have doubled their training after the Palace debacle

Modern player will do what they want. Coaches have minimal control over what they do. Bielsa managed it and see where it got him

    Really high quality game.

Enjoyed watching both teams. Thought Bayern wilted under pressure as the 2nd half wore on and could have lost by more.
