When i was growing up in Dublin, there were far more Spanish in Dublin than most of my adult life, truth is, London AND Dublin are so much more unsafe and those hoards of Spanish school kid trips dried up.

 

I doubt Labour could solve all the problems of the last thirteen years but given there’s a choice of two I’ll lean towards the one that improved living standards considerably last time they had a chance over the one that has shown no interest in improving anything for at least the last seven years.

Will also buy the bloke who sits outside Waitrose a sandwich after your encouraging words.

We already have a term, "from my perspective" and when you put it like that it isn't such a "truth", or "my truth" is it? as we all have a perspective.

London looks very changed from when I worked there, even as near back as 2007-8ish

but I dont live there and don't profess to know what its like for people living there.

When the UK was in the EU they still needed a passport to visit the UK.

EUROPEAN UNION subjects aren't supposed to be able to afford passports they travel within the Shengen zone with their Ursula-von-der-leyen EUROPEAN UNION covid passports. Unfortunately they don't work outside of the EUROPEAN UNION.

A Romanian would need a Romanian passport & visa to travel to America, which Is of course racist Biden says for voters .

 

It is. Its a very unsafe city now. It used to be just some small parts that were dodgy, now its pretty much anywhere is dodgy.

There use to be social cohesion, a level of respect for others to varying degrees, and a sense of identity, and law and order, but its all but gone.

 

Just seems odd how invested & passionate you seem to be about the UK , if you are an Irish expat living in the EUROPEAN UNION.
