Joey Barton taking things to far?

Joey has moved on, and said things he shouldn't. But it's hardly worth hanging him for. Countless millions say and do worse every day - I'm not saying it's right, but it is fact. I've called my mates worse in jokey ways.

 

I'm fully aware of that, I teach amelioration and pejoration on as part of my job (rock and roll I know). Language does develop, it just annoys me when people say something is 'just a word'.

 

He's off tonight to appear on Question of Sport, in case you were worried about his lack of exposure!

I agree, but I believe we're coming to a point in society where calling someone a '******' is leaning towards calling someone idiotic instead of referring to handicapped people.

 

****ing hell, you can't say anything without upsetting someone.

I don't know what The only way is Essex is, but I believe it's some ****ty reality TV show, in which case the horrible little attention whores (have I gone too far?) deserve all the abuse they get.

 

It is garbage TV. Total bum slurry

 

I've heard two things about it. First was Nick Grimshaw talking about a lass on it who wants an arse transplant (think I've got the right show), and the second I seem to have erased from my memory.

 

I don't watch any reality tv, I've no interest in reality programmes or the people in them, this brings me to the conclusion that Joey Barton is probably bored, spending too much time on twitter and basically mischief making.

 

Sadly TV is saturated by reality shows. I prefer to just leave the telly off.

 

Too much tv in this household if I'm honest, I don't know what I'd do without Sky Sports.

 

Football is pretty much the only thing I watch.

 

Very rarely have mine on. Sport and good films and the odd comedy show.

Well, I was about to appeal to your creative side and remind you of all the good tv productions we've had lately, but I can't think of any....

 

I think it's only fair for those people to voice their opposition to it though, considering this is a forum. The majority of those people have managed to do so without being aggressive such as yourself. You may think it's ok to use and that's fine, but there's no need to be a twat about it.
