I'd be suprised if we line up the way Frankie has said with a back 4. I think it will be a 3, especially with Roberts dropping out as well. Clarke is pretty comfortable as a wing back with Goochy on the other side imo.
Can’t work this team out like. Amad has to play on the wing for me as that’s by far his best position. Pritchard as the tip of a midfield 3 with Ba up front? As for defence? Haven’t got a clue
Quite shrewd man management to take Gelhardt out and let Ekwah start. After his goal Gelhardt can come out of the team confident he's only being rested and Ekwah gets a vote of confidence despite his mistake. Bold in Ekwahs case and I hope it pays off!
Last season, Hume was signed in Jan and was nowhere near ready for the 1s team. Fast forward 12 months and the benefit of training every day with better players and he's comfortably our best RB. Anderson could follow the same path. I'd maybe argue he should have been signed to compliment the CBs we had, rather than as a replacement for Wright but we are where we are (and Wright has a broken leg anyway)
Yeah - brave move, some idiots on twitter demanding Tony be sacked for that Team selection - I really don't understand some of our 'fan' base, well the ones on twitter anyway (if they really are our fans)
Yeah ive just checked our remaining fixtures and that does look the case now. Always expect the unexpected with Sunderland though weve had that many falls, so i was just getting abit paranoid. It looks like its been mission accomplished this season then, i just hope we can kick on with the right investment and aim for top 6 next year.
